Faster, more effi cient emergency response is more urgent than ever, especially as budget
cuts stretch limited resources. Intergraph® computer-aided dispatch (CAD) is the choice of
more than 2,500 agencies worldwide, offering communications integration, interoperability,
and mobile technologies to help you make smarter decisions at critical moments. Our
geospatially powered software ensures dispatchers have the right tools to fi eld calls, enter
and update incident details, and manage critical resources. We combine an interactive,
real-time map display with call-handling, dispatch, records management, commercial
intelligence data, and mobile technologies to bring you life-saving information when you
need it.
I/Calltaker and I/Dispatcher form the core of our solution. I/Calltaker lets you answer calls,
verify locations, enter precise incident data, and forward calls to control-room dispatchers.
Automatic feeds from alarm systems and ANI/ALI controllers, combined with the display of
geographical location, address, and other information, allow call-takers to rapidly identify
where an incident is happening. The software further provides structured questions that
guide you through specifi c situations to help you quickly assess and prioritize calls.
I/Dispatcher adds resource management to I/Calltaker, so you can dispatch units and
resources, and monitor incident status. Using the integrated map display, I/Dispatcher
recommends resources based on incident and vehicle location, drive time, unit type,
offi cer skills and availability, and other factors. Our mobile technologies bring you feature-
rich dispatch and query capabilities from laptops, tablets, and smartphones. All these
features instill confi dence that you have the right information on hand to help you
save lives.

ABOUT INTERGRAPH
with mobile response units in the field. Automatic handling of
intelligent notifications allows you to quickly and reliably share
critical information on a wide range of devices, streamlining
operations and improving personnel safety.
Convenient Web Access – Intergraph’s web-based dispatch
system leads the industry in remote dispatch, enabling secure
and efficient dispatch from the field using a variety of familiar
platforms and data types. Our I/NetViewer and I/NetDispatcher
applications with .NET and a web services core improve
interoperability and consistency with other public safety
applications. Enhanced user refresh raises workflow productivity
by giving you real-time information.
Support for Mobile Users – Intergraph’s mobile solutions
provide incident, mapping, and location data on mobile platforms:
web, vehicle, handheld/smartphone, and tablet, and offer
seamless application interoperability for the mobile user. It allows
field personnel to update incident details, access local and national
databases, and send and receive text messages using in-vehicle
devices, handheld devices, and radio terminals.
Dynamic Incident Summary – With our incident summary tools,
you can display incident details at the touch of a button. Incident
information is automatically available to all authorized users (e.g.,
other control room staff and officers enroute to an incident).
Integrated Voice and Data – Our application smoothly integrates
voice and data communications with seamless interfaces to radio
and telecommunications systems to allow fast, efficient radio
messaging and data distribution.
Load Balancing – This feature lets you assign multiple incidents
to the same unit, or hold them for scheduling at a specific time
pending unit availability or other conditions.
Resource Tracking – The ability to track resources enables you
to monitor activity, issues alerts if a unit fails to respond within
the required time, and uses colors and symbols to differentiate
between unit availability statuses. You can enhance resource
tracking with real-time automatic vehicle location (AVL).
Support for Map Editing – Our software integrates with our I/Map
Editor product to streamline map workflows.
Automatic Perimeter Generation – The ability to automatically
generate a perimeter within a specified distance of an event, and
then send that information to mobile units, speeds response for
road closures and other time-critical workflows.
Interoperability for Multi-Agency CoordinationMulti-Agency Data Sharing – Intergraph’s CAD application
promotes multi-agency collaboration to optimize agency resource
management. Support for National Information Exchange Model
(NIEM) protocols enables CAD information exchange and cross-
referencing of events in a multi-agency environment.
Application Interoperability – Our modern, innovative approach
gives you bi-directional communication with other CAD and external
interfaces using industry-standard formats. Our framework lets
you create business rules that notify stations, individuals, units,
workstations, printers, and outside agencies based on triggers such as
event type, location, unit status, road closures, and expiring time limits.
Our exclusive EdgeFrontier® middleware promotes rapid deployment
of interfaces, including seamless connections to a variety of cameras,
sensor systems, and networks.
Platforms and Technologies Geospatially Powered Platform – Our geospatial solutions
enable complete situational awareness, as incident and resource
information is fused with GIS data and displayed in easy-to-
understand visual representations.
Microsoft Bing and Google Maps Support – With appropriate
licensing, you can now display consumer maps in addition to your
CAD map. This is useful when events fall outside your jurisdiction,
or when additional data layers, such as aerial or oblique imagery,
may add visual information about an incident location. Integration
with CAD allows you to view these maps in the CAD environment.
Access to More Intelligence Data – Intergraph’s partnership
with Intrado, Inc., provides relevant and timely information about
people, places, and property on any Internet-enabled device.
Intrado Beware better prepares you to respond to any situation for
more confident and coordinated on-scene decision-making.
Data Security – New National Institute of Standards and
Technology (NIST) certified encryption algorithms, delivered with
with the Microsoft operating system, provide critical data security.
