The Kappa brand arrived in Spain.

Kappa opened the first foreign branch, in Lyon, France, getting more and more important abroad.

The brand applied for trademark registration, a fact that constituted another phase of our company history.

Cappa (written with C) was born thanks to the passion for motorcycling and became from the very beginning a real, solid Italian company, specializing in the production of accessories for bikes.

Former motorcycle champion Giuseppe Visenzi took over the company and the brand, changing it from Cappa to Kappa. This change opened up a new period of growth that gave the company success in both national and international market.

Kappa is 45 years old, 2011 will represent a further chal-lenge for the brand: the introduction on the market of a new helmet range.

The Kappa brand has established its reputation introducing its vast range of

products to more than 40 countries.

Our R&D Dept. is equipped with the most modern machines for the crash test and collaborates with external laboratories which have sophisticated optical benches and spectrophotometers for theroutine tests on the visors. Our engineers and technical Dept. analyze each riding situation, in each atmospheric condition for each type of impact on the helmet, in order to obtain the total safety for the final product. The suitability of the machines and the high professionalism of our technicians allowed us to obtain the necessary auto certification to implement the relevant controls of our production internally, as per the ECE/ONU 22-05 regulation.

The Kappa accessories range was enriched with a new range of products: the helmets. The project, developed morethan one year ago, arrives today at it’s conclusion with the introduction of a complete line of brand new helmets:the modular KV1, the full-face KV4, the jet KV3, the demi-jet KV2 and the sympathic “Bubble” model for children.

PACKAGING COST CONTRIBUTIONAll helmets and accessories except hard cases (that have their own packaging) are shipped assembled in carton boxes for transportation. A packaging cost contribution will be charged on every invoice and calculated as 1.30€ per each carton box in the shipment (except cases).

Modular helmet with a plucky and edgy shape, double homologation, easy opening of the chin rest with one hand via middle button on the bottom; the return of the visor when it is opened individually. The inner lining is fully removable, fixed withbuttons, including the flag strap. Wind protector equipped with specific hooks. Removable visor and sun visor without usingtools thanks to the handy bayonet system. The Visor equipped with antifog adhesive lens. Ventilation ensured by a slide on the chin rest for misting, two vents for the front channel and a good classical internal extractor, at the rear to maintain constant internal temperature.

The KV4 JADE is a full-face helmet in thermoplastic material. Equipped with micrometric buckle, the inner lining is removable and made of hypo-allergenic fabric. The sunglass visor with quick release mechanism and the anti scratch visor crown it all. In two colours: gloss white and gloss black.
