WorkSafe New Zealand (WorkSafe) may be consulted regarding the management of risks to human health from the use of hazardous substances, as WorkSafe is the regulator for the purposes of the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA). Under section 30(1)(a) of HSWA, the Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) must eliminate risks to health and safety so far as reasonably practicable.
