school. Lunchbo0es must not have cartoon characters on them.
#nsure that my1our child attends school regularly( arriving and
departing on time.
Notify the school immediately and in writing if my1our child is
absent or more than '5minutes late for any reason. Advance
notification of leave for medical appointments must be
made in writing to the class teacher.
!ecognise that attendance and punctuality are e0tremely
important in terms of discipline.
!ecognise that persistent absences are disruptive( and absences
for reasons other than illnessor emergency are not acceptable. Any
child absent for more than a wee* without reason may
be ta*en off the register.
#nsure that my1our child is properly e)uipped( and in
appropriate school uniform( in
accordance with the school4s policy. In winter terms children
must bring in coats hats andgloves
Send an appropriate pac*ed lunch every day. Lunch should not
include 46un* food4 i.e. fi33y
drin*s( sweets( chocolates( crisps7 8ealthy alternatives such as
fruit and yogurt are
encouraged. $acilities to heat up food are available.
Support my1our child so that he1she can complete home learning
activities provided by theschool on time.

school trips.

Provide home learning activities for your child to complete with
your support. The ob2ective
of home9 wor* is to reinforce what the children are currently
learning in school. Thereforethere will be no new topics and
children should mainly be able to do the wor* independently.
Communicate regularly about school activities through
newsletters and notices about special
events and re)uests.
