INVITATION FOR NEW MEMBERS
The Young Scientists Forum has been established to give the
younger scientists anopportunity to voice their opinion on S &
T issues both within and outside their respectiveinstitutes and
thereby actively participate in the decision-making processes. In
addition, theforum is set up to develop and strengthen the skills
of younger scientists.
Eligibility: Commitment towards assisting the development of
Science and Technology and willing
to dedicate their services and knowledge towards its
enhancement,
Below 45 years of age, with a basic degree or equivalent
qualification in Natural,
Medical, Applied or Social Sciences including Engineering and
Agriculture
and
Permanently employed at Research and Development (R&D)
institutions, Universities
and any other public or private sector institutions related to
Science and Technology
(S&T).
Those who work on contract basis, involved in R&D work will
be evaluated case-by-case
basis.
The application when reached NASTEC will be forwarded to the YSF
Steering Committee to
obtain recommendation for approval by NASTEC
When you reach the age of 45 years, if you have postgraduate
qualifications, you are
eligible to join the Senior Scientists Forum (SSF).The complete
membership application should be submitted with the Curriculum
Vitae by
registered post to Director NASTEC.
