APPLICATION FOR ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP

Section 1: Criteria for Academic Scholarship:

1. Applicant’s academic ability

2. Academic testing (Mathematics and English) – conducted at the College

3. School and Naplan reports

4. Reference from school teacher

This applicant form and supporting documents should be returned by 1st April 2019 to

the office by email: office@smcc.qld.edu.au.

Applicants will be contacted regarding shortlisting and testing.

Students who have already applied for enrolment at the College may have already

submitted the required documentation – please check with the College if uncertain:

1. Last two academic reports

2. Year 5 Naplan report

3. Certificates (eg ICAS tests)

4. Written reference from school teacher

5. Application fee of $50 to be paid to the College

child’s surname. Example Reference Code – “SCH Smith”, for a child

SCHOLARSHIP OFFERS – Academic scholarships may be awarded to students who

display outstanding academic excellence, a passion for learning and a willingness to

fully engage in St Mary’s Catholic College community. St Mary’s has enrichment

programs available, multiple pathways and many extension opportunities for students to

develop their potential.
