October 27, 2003 a Chesapeake Bay Preservation Area (CBPA) Board application was submitted for the construction of a commercial building with associated parking lot.

• The application was withdrawn by the applicant.

Flood Zone AE – Base Flood Elevation 7 Soil Type(s) Rappahannock Series (deep and poorly drained soils) Duckston Series (deep and poorly drained soils) Corolla Series (moderately to poorly well drained, seasonal high water table limits use of soil) Shoreline Shoreline has not been hardened, tidal marsh and high marsh present Riparian Buffer Mature riparian forest present with well-established forest floor. Riparian forest primary consisting of loblolly pines (Pinus taeda), live oaks (Quercus virginiana) and understory species consisting of marsh elder (Iva frutescens), groundsel bush (Baccharis halimifolia), wax myrtle (Myrica sp.). Non-tidal wetlands, delineated August 14, 2014 per US Army Corp of Engineers
