Apple Mac/MacBook How to login to DA Portal/DA Portal Web with an Apple Mac/MacBook

Requirements:

• Install Microsoft Remote Desktop 10

o Uninstall any previous versions of Microsoft Remote Desktop

• Remove all prior configurations on the Microsoft Remote Desktop App

o Remove User Accounts

o Remove Remote Feeds/Resources/Workspaces

1. Download the Microsoft Remote Desktop 10

a. Go into the App Store

b. Search for Microsoft Remote Desktop 10

c. Install Microsoft Remote Desktop 10

2. Open https://daportalweb.sdcda.org or https://daportal.sdcda.org

a. Login

3. Select an authentication method

a. Authenticate with DUO

4. Open an application (ex: CMS-A)

a. It should automatically download a file into your Downloads folder

5. Open the downloaded .rdp file in your Downloads folder

a. Double-click the downloaded .rdp file

b. Downloads may also appear in the top-right corner of your browser (view screenshot below)

i. Double-Click the downloaded .rdp file

6. Enter your credentials (JDOEXX@sdcda.org)

a. Microsoft Remote Desktop app should open immediately

b. Enter your credentials and Select Continue

7. After you enter your credentials, the application should launch

a. Select OK

8. The selected DA Portal Web application should appear

a. *It may take some time for the application to load*
