Current Activities:
One to one – Individual and group counselling provided by highly trained and supervised volunteer counsellors. All our volunteers abide by our extensive Codes of Practice and Ethics to maintain the highest possible standards.
Provide 1 hour weekly, customised to service user need; Drop In – A twice weekly service for bereaved people in distress and those who prefer flexible support; Telephone Help-Line/ web based – Support for individuals or organisations needing instant assistance, information and advice.

Purpose of Grant:
The funding will be used to recruit a further 5 new volunteer counsellors from the local community, which will provide training and experience to achieve paid work in the future. Provision of emotional and practical supervisory support for 10 volunteers will be provided by an experienced supervisor, who will run 4 groups monthly of 2.5 hours of 5 people each, in line with the code of practice set out by the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy: Travel expenses for volunteers and advertising the service.

Working as a medium between the statutory services and the voluntary sector, our Centre serves all the communities living in the London Borough of Hounslow, the purpose of the Centre is to act as a focal point for activities that combat exclusion and provide basic advice, assistance, sustenance, friendship and opportunity to individuals to express the joy of their own cultures and religions. HMCC has been contracted by Hounslow Council for over 28 years to provide high quality food and beverage service to the local community allied to health and wellbeing.

Current Activities:
Hounslow Phab‟s aim is to provide opportunities for integration and social inclusion for young people with and without physical and learning needs. This includes life skills, volunteering and the opportunity to form friendships with likeminded young people. Phab runs various clubs for people with differing needs including, „Stars on Saturday‟ for young people with MLD and Autism. „Stars‟ Duke of Edinburgh Award Sessions for people who need extra support to achieve their awards. Phab Sports club in association with Brentford FC Community Sports Trust. Phab club on Thursday and Monday evenings is a youth club for all young people offering extra care and support for people with disabilities.

London Wildlife Trust is the only charity dedicated solely to protecting the capital's wildlife and wild spaces, engaging London's diverse communities through access to our nature reserves, campaigning, volunteering and outdoor learning. London Wildlife Trust manages over forty nature reserve sites across the capital that are exemplars of urban conservation land management and which engage the local communities that use the sites. The Trust delivers projects focusing on protecting priority habitats and species in London and works to influence policy makers. The Trust engages London's diverse communities through access to our nature reserves, volunteering programmes and education and outreach work.

To fund the cost of a project officer & project manager each for 2.5 days, overhead costs and volunteer costs. The proposed Hounslow Crane Valley Enhancement project will be based at Crane Park Island Nature Reserve and will work with Hounslow residents, Hounslow Council staff, local groups and other London Wildlife Trust (LWT) staff and projects to

Provide subsidised music therapy for people of all ages who have physical, psychological, behavioural, learning or emotional difficulties, in order to improve their wellbeing and quality of life through creative and participatory music making, enabling them to reach their potential. Each year we help over 250 people of all ages, providing 2,000 individual and 300 group sessions in our purpose built music therapy studio in Twickenham, South West London, or at our outreach projects in the surrounding areas. Run a Music School for children and young people with special needs to develop their musical talent, and provide therapy sessions for adults and the elderly in residential care homes. We also provide art therapy and a choir for parents of children with special needs £9,180

To provide weekly music therapy sessions for young people in Hounslow, who have experienced their first episode of psychosis, to enable them to regain confidence and develop new skills which they can use to help their recovery and re-integration into the community

Current Activities:
Runs activities providing learning, life skills and social interaction for young people aged between 16 and 25 with learning difficulties or other disabilities. Currently runs a weekly youth club on Sunday afternoons in Redlees Play Centre and have a gardening project starting in Osterley Park kitchen garden in March 2015. We are keen to develop further provision. The service is intended as a 'bridge' between formal education and adult life, a weekly meeting place for young people to share their experiences and grow and develop in a setting that is less formal than school but still provides all the structure and support that these young people need. The aim is to develop a wide range of services that young people are keen to use, with high quality and energetic staff keeping activities safe, exciting and age appropriate.

Our main focus is on reaching Year 6 primary school students with an age appropriate module in their „Transition‟ year to secondary school where they can often fall prey to negative peer pressure, get into gangs and petty crime and into making the wrong choice of new friends.

A contribution towards running 7 Careers Days in 7 Hounslow schools before the end of the 2014/15 academic year. This will enable independence and resilience by building skills and resources of Hounslow resident students. They will better understand the needs, challenges and potential of the world of work and be equipped to succeed in their career.

TCV is the practical sustainability charity that works with people and communities to transform their health, prospects and outdoor places for the long term. Our staff and volunteers care for and improve thousands of local green places throughout the UK and in doing so improve our environment, their own wellbeing, while developing new skills and making their local community a better place to live in. We have 50 years‟ experience managing volunteer programmes, developing and delivering community support, and running employment and training initiatives. The Conservation Volunteers help hundreds of thousands of people each year to care for their local green places in cities and the countryside, through targeted environmental projects and through supporting our network of 2,000 community groups.

Current Activities:
Watermans is the major arts centre in Hounslow and provides high quality arts projects both at its venue in Brentford and out in the community. The organisation provides regular activities in performance, music, dance, circus, film, visual arts and creative media.
In particular, we positively seek to engage communities that typically do not access cultural and other community services. In addition to the services at our venue, we work extensively out in the community, providing learning and participation programmes across the borough. We also offer a regular programme of free outdoor arts, predominantly in Hounslow town centre, which enables us to take art to the heart of our communities.

To fund the Employment & Training Adviser for 15 days and delivery of employability training tutor for 8 days.
