2. MASONRY GROUT SHALL CONFORM TO ASTM C476 WITH AMINIMUM COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH OF 2500 PSI AT 28 DAYS.MAXIMUM AGGREGATE SIZE SHALL BE 1/4" PER ASTM C404,AND SLUMP SHALL BE 8"-10". TEST SAMPLES SHALL BE TAKENFOR EVERY 30 CU. YDS. PLACED AND COMPRESSION TESTRESULTS SHALL BE FORWARDED TO THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER.

F. CONCRETE MASONRY
1. ALL MASONRY DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE INACCORDANCE WITH ACI 530/ASCE 5/TMS 402 AND ACI530.1/ASCE 6/TMS 602, CURRENT EDITIONS.
2. CONCRETE MASONRY UNITS SHALL BE NORMAL AND CONFORMTO ASTM C90, GRADE N, TYPE I. LAY IN RUNNING BOND UNLESSOTHERWISE NOTED. F'm SHALL BE 1500 PSI, MINIMUM.
3. JOINT REINFORCING SHALL BE TRUSS TYPE SPACEDVERTICALLY AT 16" ON CENTER, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED,AND CONFORMING TO ASTM A951.
4. VERTICAL REINFORCING IN CONCRETE MASONRY, ASREQUIRED, SHALL BE DOWELED INTO THE FOUNDATION ANDEXTEND INTO BOND BEAMS. PROVIDE MIN. 4" x 4" OPENING ATU-BLOCK FOR VERTICAL BAR.
