The TS-AFC (Adaptive Feed Control) application adapts your machine‘s override to current machining conditions intelligently and in next to no time.

Mode of operation:· Increases feed when underloaded· Reduces feed when overloaded

Processes:· General drilling and milling machining· Roller-burnishing, rolling

Particularly successful for:· Free-form milling for making tools· Face milling in small-batch production· Full-groove/multipass milling in batch production· Rough turning in individual batch size production

Comments:

Process-related specifications can be created for the app. For example, it can be set to accelerate tools only and not to decelerate them when overloaded.

The cycle time reduction has been determined in practice to be between 5 and 15% with the TS-AFC.
