Associate Principal Percussion

Opera Australia’s orchestra, the Australian Opera and Ballet Orchestra, seeks an outstanding musician to fill the permanent position of Associate Principal Percussion:

Audition: Thursday 12 November and Friday 13 November 2015. Applicants must be available on both days. Repertoire requirements:

• Snare Drum – Jacques Delecluse: Etude No. 6 from Douze Etudes Pour Caisse-Claire AND Etude No. 11 from Keiskleiriana, Volume 1

• Marimba – J.S. Bach: Suite No. 1 in G Major, BWV 1007: Sarabande

This position is open only to Australian and New Zealand Citizens and Australian Permanent Residents.
