• For Huawei 2020 new models, download from

Huawei App Gallery, locate “hi-hive

Community” to install.

• For iPhone and other Android models,

download the “hi-hive Community” by scanning

the QR code, or go to Apple Store / Google

Play, search for “hi-hive Community” to install.

• For Android users, minimum Android OS

support is 5.0.

• For iPhone users, minimum iOS OS support is

10.0.

• This guideline uses Android screenshots for

illustrating purpose.

• Should you have any question or request for

Login Screen

• Select “ALLOW” for hi-hive

Community App to access your

contacts.

• New users: Choose “Sign Up” to

create your hi-hive account.

• Existing users: Proceed to login. If

you have forgotten your password,

tap “Forgot your password?” to reset

your password.

Sign Up

Fill up the details.

• Display Name – Enter your full name.

• Email – This is your login ID. You may

use your personal email address.

• Mobile Number – Enter your mobile no.

• Password – Enter your password to

login hi-hive Community.

• Referral Code – This is optional, leave it

blank for now.

• Terms & Conditions – Please read the

T&C.

Select “Sign Up”.

Email Verification

• You will receive an email with

“Activation link” to activate your hi-

hive Community account.

• Minimize the hi-hive Community App

but do not close the app, let it run in

the background.

• Upon activation, navigate to hi-hive

Community App, and click on “Verify”

to complete the sign up process.

• If you don’t receive any email,

request again by tapping the

“Request activation link”.

• Select “Settings”, the last icon in

the menu bar at the bottom of

the page.

• On Settings page, select

“Personalised Community”.

• Swipe left to locate UTAR

“Personalised Community”.

• Tap on the UTAR logo.

Email Verification

Welcome onboard. To verify your identity

as a UTAR staff or student:

1. Enter your UTAR email address.

2. Select “Request Activation”.

3. You will receive an email for

activation.

4. Minimize hi-hive but do not close the

app, let it run in the background.

5. Click on the “Activation link” in your

email.

Verify Activation

Once activated, navigate to hi-hive

Community App, select “Verify

Activation” to complete the

enrolment process.

If you don’t receive any email,

request again by tapping on

“Request Activation”.
