CORRIGENDUMRECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF SUB- ENGINEER(ELECL.,) & Jr. ASSISTANT (LDC)

As per the Hon’ble High Court order dt: 09.12.2013 on the Writ Petitions filed challenging the 45% weightage marks to the in-service contract workers in direct recruitment of Sub-Engineer (Elecl.,) & Jr.Assistant (LDC), the assigning of weightage marks to the in-service contract workers is revised as follows with reference to the Notifications issued on 15-12-2011 & 01-04-2012 respectively :

III. Selection Procedure:

(i) Evaluation will be done on a scale of 100 marks with a maximum of 80 marks for written examination, for in-service experience in the organization as Contract worker weightage will be given for a maximum of 20 marks.

(vi) to (ix) Revised as follows :

(a). Weightage marks for experience shall not exceed 20%.

(b). 2 marks for every completed year of service shall be awarded.

(c). The experience must be in the relevant job, for one to become entitled to begranted weightage marks.

i. Contract labour who have been rendering service as Sub-Engineers alone will be entitled to count their contract service as Sub-Engineers for awarding weightage marks for selection to the post of Sub-Engineers.

ii. Jr.Assistant (LDC) or those working against equivalent posts can be awarded weightage marks for selection to the posts of Jr.Assistant (LDC), but not for selection to any other post other than Jr.Assistant (LDC), even if they possess the requisite qualification for recruitment to the post of Sub-Engineer

d. The contract labour who have rendered service and available in service as on the the date of issue of notification i.e., 15-12-2011 for Sub Engineer (Electl) 01-04-2012 for Junior Asst.) are alone entitled for the weightage marks. However weightage will be reckoned up to 31-03-2012 as mentioned in Notifications. Those who are not in service on contract basis as on date of issue of Notifications but who may have rendered service in the past are not entitled to make any such claim.

All other procedures and conditions mentioned in the notification in regard to assigning the weightage marks will holds good.
