  • 600mm Wide Rack SolutionsAPC’s new AP7866 and AP7856 are the first and onlyvertical-mount zero-U rack power distribution units available which permit standard installation in a 600mm (24”) wide enclosure while permitting full access to HP BladeSystem c7000 hot swap blade components.

    HP BladeSystem requires clearance within rear enclosure space to access hot swap blade modules

    PROBLEM

    Existing solutions interfere with hot swap module access

    due to rack PDU depth and input power cord orientation

    SOLUTION

    APC AP7856 & AP7866 allow full access to hot swap blade components when installed in standard 600mm (24”) wide rack enclosure

    • HP Rack PDU Recommendations– International 32A 3-phase (230V):

    (4) BladeSystem chassis PDU– North America 60A 3-phase (208V):

    (3) BladeSystem chassis without power capping– However, HP also recommends that power

    capping to 4kW per chassis is possible with minimal impact on performance
