• KOREN will be upgraded to an optical network with (by 2004)– 10G/2.4G among all 6 nodes using P2P D

WDM, OADM, and OXC– members having GbE access

TEIN/APII

• TEIN– At least 45Mbps by year’s end(December)

• New JP-KR APII/JP-KR Gigabit Network– Now official between JP and KR

governments

• (APREN by KR government)– KR wants to propose/form an Asia-wide R+E

network with other countries
