Courier (p. 285) Line Spacing – Double spacing should occur after every line of the document. This includes headings, footings, reference page, title page, and captions for figures and tables. (p. 286) Paragraph Indentation: Paragraphs should be indented 5 spaces or ½ inch. (p. 289) In text citation: Paraphrase & Summary – Include author’s last and date of publication in parentheses at end of sentence. Be sure to separate author’s last name and date by a comma. And don’t forget to add a period after the parentheses! Example: (Gutek, 2004). (p. 207) Quote – Include author’s last name, date, and page number where quote was found in parentheses at end of sentence. Be sure to add a comma after the author’s name and after the date.
