Research

1. Research your assigned artist and create a SHORT Power Point Presentation with examples and a brief description of their work.

2. Visit a museum. Photograph (if permitted) or draw your favorite piece. Write a paragraph about the piece and why you were drawn to it. Include the image and general information about the piece in your Power Point.FYI the Mint Museum is free from 5-9 every Wednesday and Bank of America customers also get in free on certain days.

3. Visit art and design blogs and create a collection of pieces that you find interesting/inspiring. I recommend using Pinterest or you can create a word document with images and links to the original website. Choose your 3 favorites and add them to your Power Point. Include your Pinterest username in your powerpoint (you can make a separate account just for class if you wish). follow allenkate08 for ideas.
