Tips for Time Management

• Make a plan: – Make a to-do list every day. Don’t just make a

random list, consider time limits and when it needs to be accomplished.

– Make a weekly plan on Sunday nights. Ask yourself what you need to accomplish by the end of the week and figure out when and how you will do it.

• Be realistic about your time:– Think about how long it should take to do

something– Set time limits for things; use a kitchen timer if

necessary– Don’t discourage yourself by planning out huge

chunks of time you will never use (i.e. “I’m going to study for history for 6 hours this weekend!”)
