Interesting Facts About ArtistAlthough his family was poor they took care of his

education and enrolled into the university of Leiden at the age of 14 but because the program did not interest him he left to study art.

the picture on bottom is believed to be aself portrait of him in the night watchbehind the guard.

The picture is of rembrandt’s town house in Amsterdam where he produced most of his works. Bought by him in 1639 later to become a house of tragedy after his wife and three of his children died there. Later becoming a financial burden in 1660 he was forced to move out. In 1911 the dutch movement made it a rembrandt museum preserving and imposing an example of 17th century art
