Description

AP Armaflex is a flexible elastomeric thermal insulation. The expanded closed-cell structure prevents moisture fromwicking and makes it an efficient insulation. It is manufactured without the use of CFCs, HFCs or HCFCs. It isalso formaldehyde free, low VOCs, fiber free, dust free and resists mold and mildew. All AP Armaflex products aremade with Microban antimicrobial product protection for added defense against mold on the insulation.

Our original SA Black Duct Liner/Wrap is supplied in sheets 36 x 48, and in rolls 48 and 60 in width, in nominalthicknesses of 3/8, 1/2, 3/4, and 1 (10mm, 13mm, 19mm, and 25mm). AP Armaflex SA Black Duct Liner/Wrapis supplied in self-adhering sheets and rolls that do not require pinning due to the advanced, aggressive adhesivesystem.

Our Gray Duct Liner/Wrap is supplied in rolls 46-1/4, 47, 48, 56-1/4, 59 and 60 in width, in nominal 1/2(special order) and 1 thicknesses. AP Armaflex Gray Duct Liner/Wrap is intended to be pinned during factoryapplication in accordance with SMACNA requirements.

Uses

AP Armaflex Duct Liner/Wrap is a suitable replacement for traditional materials in air handling systems, VAV units,ducts, and other air system components requiring condensation control and moisture and damage resistance.

Armaflex insulation products must be installed according to Installation of Armaflex Insulators brochure. ProperInstallation is required to assure Armaflex insulation performance.

Application Areas:

Schools, hospitals, hotels, commercial and public buildings.

AP/Armaflex Insulation meets the engery code requirements of International Energy Conservation Code

(IECC) and ASHRAE for R-Value 4 at 1 wall thickness.

spread index of less than 25 and a smokedeveloped index of less than 50 for allthicknesses up to and including 1(25mm) when tested according to ASTME 84 and CAN ULC S-102. Numericalflammability ratings alone may not definethe performance of products under actualfire conditions. They are provided onlyfor use in the selection of products tomeet limits specified.
