Project Info• Two “group” projects (Groups of 5). Worth 20% of your final
grade. (Project 2 may be changed)
• 1st project will be a 15 minute class discussion on a topic related to weather and/or climate.
• Groups will be assigned next week
Project Important Dates• 2/1 – Assign groups and discuss topics
• 2/15 –Peer Evaluations Due
• 2/22- Draft of Project Due (Including outline of paper)
• 3/1-3/8 Presentations
Project Topics• Start thinking about them now!
• Must be answer a specific question:
• Examples: • Should we worry about sea level rise? • Have severe weather events in the US increased as a result of
climate change?• How has the drought in California affected produce?• How can we forecast the weather more efficiently?
