Jade won the Gresham's scholarship and spent two years at Gresham's studying the international baccalaureate. On the IB she studied Biology, Chemistry, English literature, Spanish, Maths and Psychology, which was intense, but I loved it! Jade passed her IB with all 6's and 5s (high grades) These results allowed me to be accepted into Kings College London, to study Pharmacology Msci, which means that after 4 years she will have a Masters in Science of Pharmacology. What inspired you to choose this path/career? "Before coming Venture I was really unsure of what I wanted to do. Arriving here in the middle of year 8 was terrifying, but actually the best thing I ever did. I found my drive for the sciences and it all started from there. I was interested in medicine and illnesses, and through research and the help of staff, I found the course that was perfect for me!" What is your best revision/study tip? "Always use colours! Even if you're just rewriting notes from a book or making pretty mind maps, always use colour! It makes it so much nicer and helps you visualise the work a lot better, especially in diagrams!" What is the one piece of advice you would give to current Venture Students? "Take every opportunity you are offered. If it's a little school trip or a huge scholarship, just apply for it, see how the process goes. Applying for the Gresham's scholarship was initially a spontaneous decision, and now it has completely changed my life, so just go for it! What is your best revision/study tip?

"Always use colours! Even if you're just rewriting

notes from a book or making pretty mind maps, always

use colour! It makes it so much nicer and helps you

visualise the work a lot better, especially in

diagrams!"

What is the one piece of advice you would give to

current Venture Students?

"Take every opportunity you are offered. If it's a

little school trip or a huge scholarship, just apply

for it, see how the process goes. Applying for the

Gresham's scholarship was initially a spontaneous

decision, and now it has completely changed my life,
