EyeTech Digital System – Pop-Out Focus• What caught our attention is the ability to stare at a point on a screen, and have that area automatically pop-out at you. It is called
“Foveated Reading.” That is just one application enabled by EyeTech, as they work with industrial and aerospace companies. • For glass-cockpits it takes a steady focus of an eye, as an example, for a mission-oriented screen to pop-out for better viewing by the
pilot, while reducing computation power drain on other sensor-reads by over 50% -- AND potential associated heat.• Eyetech designs low-powered eye tracking cameras packed with high-performance sensors, advanced optics and custom algorithms that can
precisely measure eye positions and movements with a frame rate up to 500Hz. These measurements can then be used for cognitive screening, behavior monitoring, and touchless control of Windows PCs and FDA registered devices.
