24-hour Reactive emergency service pipe leaks UI Solutions provides a comprehensive 24/7 call out service and aim to be on-site within two hours of the initial works request. Our multi-skilled teams ensure the works are completed efficiently and without delays.

Fire Hydrant testing We carry out fire hydrant testing and perform annual maintenance, with all works completed in accordance with BS9990:2015, the industry recognised British Standard.

Mains water leaks We provide a 24/7 reactive service for undertaking repairs on water mains. Our teams can undertake repairs on burst water mains up to 12″ and will aim to be on site within two hours.

Our comprehensive service includes everything from locating and excavating the leak, to backfill and reinstating the excavation. All reinstatements carried out are to HAUC specification.

Large Estate Mains water replacement schemes UI Solutions can renew existing large estate water mains; we have the expertise to work on confined residential estates and will carry out the works with minimal disruption. We currently undertake these works for a number of London Boroughs.

Our comprehensive surveys map-out the layout of the existing water network, we then provide existing, as built drawings, along with our proposed installation drawings. On completion of the project we provide full O&M manuals and as built drawings that will completely future proof the estate.

Pressure and flow rate tests We provide full pressure and flow rate tests, whether it is undertaking a pressure and flow rate test prior to installing a new 25mm MDPE service pipe, or undertaking tests on Fire Hydrants or on water networks on large estates. We can run tests to determine whether it’s possible extend your existing water networks, or if a new connection is required.

Drainage clearances At UI Solutions, we provide a reactive service for drain clearances, and aim to be on-site with two hours of the initial works request. We provide high pressure jetting, and have multiple teams ready at our disposal. We also undertake de-scaling, root cutting and can perform these immediately following the high pressure jetting.

CCTV surveys We provide full CCTV Surveys, from domestic households to large commercial developments. We can map out the drainage runs and provide any required remedial works. We can identify: blockages, tree roots, and pipe collapses and pipe displacements. All surveys are backed up with full colour DVD’s of the surveys along with detailed write-ups and technical drawings.

Drainage re-lining Drain re-lining is a no-dig method of effectively repairing leaking or open joints, circumferential/radial cracks or damage to the drainage line caused by blockages. It saves time and money, as opposed to the traditional method of excavating and replacing sections of pipe work. Our re-lining services are guaranteed for 10 years.

Provision of sewage tankers UI Solutions provide tanker units; always aiming to attend site on the same day as the works request. We have multiple units available; tankers that hold 1,000 gallons up to tankers with a capacity for up to 3,000 gallons. We can empty: pump chambers, gullies, sewage treatment plants, cess pits, voids, floods, grease tarps, wet wells, oil interceptors, wet wells, and ducting.

Vacuum Excavation, or Vac-Ex is generally used as a term to describe the safe exposure of live utilities beneath the ground that could be damaged by more traditional means such as mini diggers or shovels. The process has been carried out for decades, all over the world, but with limited use due to the harshness of the process on machinery. It has only been in the last 20 years that bespoke machinery has been tailor made to carry out such a process.

As well as being non-destructive the Vac-Ex process has a very unique property in that it can excavate very narrow and deep holes or trenches – 2 meters deep by 90mm wide is easily achievable. The soil removal process is very rapid and can save between 4 to 5 times the time taken over hand dig. Vac-Ex units can come in different sizes, shapes and weights to suit the job at hand. Units can vary from 250kg- 32,000kg each offering a different solution to the customers’ requirements.

Toby impressed me at first meeting with his knowledge, professionalism and honesty. He was also friendly, pleasant and not at all pushy. The installation was not straightforward as I shared my water supply with my neighbour. However, Toby provided me with two separate quotes: one for the work to be carried out

on both properties, and the other for if I had the pipe replaced on my property only. Toby regularly uses two engineers Scott and Craig, both qualified plumbers, to carry out the groundwork. They were both pleasant, reliable and hard working. They replaced the pipework, fitting an outside stop to each property, all set up for water meters. The work was carried out to a high standard in poor weather conditions, with excellent pipework and a neat finish.

At UI Solutions we undertake a multitude of Civil projects. All of our operatives are Street Works Accredited so we can work on both private and public land. We undertake drainage installations, for both foul and surface water.

We carry out permanent reinstatements and re-surfacing works following water network installations. All reinstatements within the footpath and roadway are carried out to HAUC specification. Domestic Moling is ideal for water supply pipe renewal, it is fast and economical and involves no-dig technology. The method is suitable for most soil conditions, other than on congested sites, and requires only one launch and one destination excavation to introduce and receive the mole. Domestic Moling is particularly suitable for badly corroded metal pipes, where a repair would only be a temporary solution.

We provide qualified plumbers to carry out the internal connections, and because we are WIAPS/WATER SAFE and TAPS 5 Approved, we can self-certify all works to ensure that there aren’t any unnecessary delays during the project. All of our works are fully guaranteed for 10 years.

UI Solutions’ Mechanical & Electrical division predominantly undertakes part or full replacements of antiquated commercial pipe work on both gas and water. We are continually future proofing systems with new pipe work to eliminate costly ongoing repairs. Our M&E teams can carry out works on pipe work from 1.25″ to 8″. We specialise in carrying out works for Housing Associations and London Boroughs.

UI Solutions provide topological surveys and underground utility mapping. We undertake surveying works and utility mapping, and produce detailed, as-built, plans of your existing site to allow your to improve and upgrade the infrastructure.

If you are looking to extend your site we provide detailed plans of locations and depths of services, enabling you to make key informed decisions of how to extend your site. Our as-built plans will allow you to improve your on-site maintenance and to budget for any required on-site improvements.
