Deadline 1 – VISAS MoFA
21st October: Visa Submitted
24th November: Approval Delivered
On delivery of approval, the passport holder simply needs to bring / send his visa to the Saudi Embassy in the UK in order to add the Visa. This will take around 48 hours if delivered in person, 5 days if sent by post.

Deadline 2 – VISAS CoC & PPV/Other agency: £400
18th November: Visa + Invitation letter submitted
2nd December: Approval + Passport delivered
PPV service available to any European citizen. Passport, Chamber of Commerce approval & company invitation letter need to be delivered to PPV by the 18th November. PPV guarantees delivery to passport holder by the 2nd December. N.B. Invitation letters can also be issued to non-European citizens, who can use their own Visa agency.

24th of November – Shipment arrival at Jeddah port
6th of December – Delivery of goods to the site.

Import Regulations
• Customs declaration
• Delivery permit
• Commercial license / commercial register in the relevant field
• Health certificate
• Ingredients list (Issued by the manufacturer) if relevant to food type
• Halal Slaughtering Certificate for meat and poultry / Halal certificate for food items containing ingredients of animal origin according to the requirements
• Supporting documentations for any labelled claims (nutrition claim, health claim, other claims) as required. Nutrition claims and health claims for food shall only be acceptable if claim and wording thereof has been approved by internationally recognized scientific bodies.
• Temperature record where required.
• Any additional documentations as requested by the competent authorities in Saudi.
• Electronically – Transmitted health certificates are an acceptable alternative to paper certificate accompanying an imported food consignment where the electronic certification system has been accepted by the GCC countries.
