Day 1: Board your deluxe motorcoach this morning for the first day of our Road Trip Rhythm tour. We’ll travel to Nashville, TN today and arrive in time for dinner at BB King’s Blues Club located in the heart of Nashville. Let go of the honky-tonk and let the good times roll as you listen to the live music and enjoy your meal. After dinner, we’ll check in at the Club Hotel-Nashville Inn & Suites, a charming Boutique-style hotel, for an overnight stay. (D) Day 2: Enjoy a breakfast buffet at the hotel and then depart for Memphis. Mid-day finds us arriving at Elvis Presley’s Graceland for the Experience Tour. Lunch is included at Vernon’s Smokehouse, and then enjoy
an audio-guided tour of the Graceland Mansion. You’ll see the new orientation film and have full access to the state-of-the-art Visitors Entertainment Complex. View Elvis’ two custom airplanes, his car museum, the Entertainer Career Showcase Museum, and the Discovery Exhibits. Check in to our hotel for a two-night stay, The Guest House at Graceland Hotel. Enjoy some time to refresh before departing for our dinner at Marlowe’s, home to world-championship BBQ
and filled with Elvis memorabilia. Return to the hotel to explore the hotel or enjoy Elvis movies. (B, L, D) Day 3: After breakfast, we depart the hotel with our local step-on guide who will lead us on a city tour of Memphis. Learn why Memphis is the “home of the blues” and the “birthplace of rock ‘n roll.” Stop at the Peabody Hotel to see the famous March of the Peabody Ducks, followed by free time for lunch and browsing on Beale Street. Beale Street holds a significant location in the city’s history as well as in the history of the blues. After lunch, we’ll enjoy the Sun Studio tour and explore the birthplace of rock ‘n roll and home to the “Million Dollar Quartet.” Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, BB King and Ike Turner all recorded in this studio. Dinner is included tonight at Blues City Café, an old-school juke joint that specializes in Blues music and soul food of the Delta region. You’ll enjoy the fabulous local musicians as you dine. Day 4: Enjoy your buffet breakfast and then check out of the hotel and depart for Bowling Green, KY, home of the Corvette Museum. Arrive in time to enjoy lunch at the museum and then explore the museum on your own. Mid-afternoon we’ll depart for Louisville, KY, our home for the night. Check in to the Drury Inn and enjoy their Manager’s Reception, which offers adult beverages and heavy foods. (B, L)
Day 5: A breakfast buffet will start your day and then check out of the hotel and depart for The Frazier History Museum. There you will experience “The Kentucky Show,” an exciting, emotionally compelling large screen multi-media experience that captures Kentucky’s people, culture, history, music, spirit and more! Following the show, enjoy the Spirit of Kentucky, a new exhibit filled with screens that display scenes from all around Kentucky. Following our visit, we’ll depart for a delicious lunch at Joe Huber Farms with time to visit their Fruit and Farm Gift Market, before departing for home, taking with us fond memories of our Road Trip Rhythm and Memphis tour.
