Change to First Communion time We have had to change the time of the First Holy Communion to 11am. Please see new programme:

Saturday 8th June 11am First Holy Communion Day Please bring your child to St Josephs School hall at 9.45am so that we can give the boys the sashes, take the photographs and organise the procession into church. Photographer The photographer will take group and individual photographs from 10am. Parents are able to have a tea/coffee. Dress Code Boys are to wear grey trousers, white short sleeved shirt and red tie, black shoes. Girls are to wear a white dress. Head dress is optional but no gloves are to be worn during Mass. First Holy Communion Mass

• No photography is allowed during the Mass. You are very welcome to take photographs after Mass is finished.

• Please ensure that all mobile phones are switched off before you enter church as any ringtones disrupt your child’s celebration.

• Please ensure you are seated in church 15 minutes before Mass begins. After Mass, family photographs can be taken for 15 minutes and then the children will process to school for a traditional First Communion breakfast. All parents and guests are invited too for light refreshments.

Sunday 9th June The children are asked to wear their First Holy Communion garments at their first Mass with the whole Parish congregation at 9.30am Mass. Children are to sit with their parents. After Communion the children will sing their First Holy Communion Hymn for the congregation as a thank you for their prayers. We are looking forward to a wonderful celebration of your child’s First Holy Communion Day after they have worked so well in school and with their catechists. If you have any questions please ring Annamaria Maddison on 07538369222.

Summer Fayre Can you help at our Summer Fayre? Can any employers ‘match funding’?

• We need raffle prizes • Does your company match fund? • Can you help on a stall? • We need your ideas and energy.

We want to raise money for touch screens to improve the learning environment in each class, picnic tables and table tennis tables.
