  • 1 SUNDAY, JANUARY 24, 2021 “COME PRAISE AND GLORIFY” Come praise and glorify our God, the Father of our Lord. In Christ He has in heav’nly realms, His blessings on us poured. For pure and blameless in His sight He destined us to be, and now we’ve been adopted through His Son eternally. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. Come praise and glorify our God, who gives His grace in Christ. In Him our sins are washed away, redeemed through sacrifice. In Him God has made known to us the myst’ry of His will, that Christ should be the Head of all, His purpose to fulfill. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. Come praise and glorify our God, for we’ve believed the Word, and through our faith we have a seal, the Spirit of the Lord. The Spirit guarantees our hope until redemption’s done, until we join in endless praise to God, the Three in One. (Chorus) To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves.

  • 2 “CHRIST THE SURE AND STEADY ANCHOR” Christ the sure and steady anchor in the fury of the storm, when the winds of doubt blow through me and my sails have all been torn, in the suff’ring, in the sorrow, when my sinking hopes are few, I will hold fast to the anchor, it shall never be removed. Christ the sure and steady anchor while the tempest rages on, when temptation claims the battle and it seems the night has won, deeper still then goes the anchor, though I justly stand accused, I will hold fast to the anchor, it shall never be removed. Christ the sure and steady anchor through the floods of unbelief, hopeless somehow, O my soul, now, lift your eyes to Calvary. This my ballast of assurance, see His love forever proved. I will hold fast to the anchor, it shall never be removed. Christ the sure and steady anchor as we face the wave of death, when these trials give way to glory, as we draw our final breath, we will cross that great horizon, clouds behind and life secure, and the calm will be the better, for the storms that we endure. Christ the shore of our salvation, ever faithful, ever true, we will hold fast to the anchor, it shall never be removed. “THE LOVE OF GOD” The love of God is greater far than tongue or pen can ever tell. It goes beyond the highest star and reaches to the lowest hell. The guilty pair bowed down with care, God gave His Son to win. His erring child He reconciled and pardoned from his sin. When years of time shall pass away and earthly thrones and kingdoms fall, when men, who here refuse to pray, on rocks and hills and mountains call, God’s love so sure shall still endure, all measureless and strong. Redeeming grace to Adam’s race, the saints’ and angels’ song. (Chorus) O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure the saints’ and angels’ song. Could we with ink the ocean fill, and were the skies of parchment made, were ev’ry stalk on earth a quill, and every man a scribe by trade, to write the love of God above would drain the ocean dry, nor could the scroll contain the whole tho stretched from sky to sky. (Chorus) O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure the saints’ and angels’ song. (Chorus) O love of God, how rich and pure! How measureless and strong! It shall forevermore endure the saints’ and angels’ song.

  • 3 “GOD, THE UNCREATED ONE” God the uncreated One, the Author of salvation, who wrote the laws of space and time, and fashioned worlds to His design. The One whom angel hosts revere, hung the stars like chandeliers, numbered every grain of sand, knows the heart of every man. He is King forever, He is King forever, He is King forevermore. God our fortress and our strength, the Rock on which we can depend, matchless in His majesty, His power and authority. Unshaken by the schemes of man, never-changing, great I AM, kingdoms rise and kingdoms fall, He is faithful through it all. Crown Him King forever, crown Him King forever, crown Him King forevermore. Mighty God in mortal flesh, forsaken by a traitor’s kiss, the curse of sin and centuries did pierce the lowly Prince of Peace. Oh, lifted high, the sinless man, crucified, the spotless Lamb, buried by the sons of man, rescued by the Father’s hand to reign as King forever, reign as King forever, reign as King forevermore. King Eternal, God of Grace, we crown you with the highest praise, Heaven shouts and saints adore, “You’re holy, holy, holy, Lord!” What joy in everlasting life, all is love and faith is sight. Justice rolls and praises rise at the Name of Jesus Christ. King of kings forever, King of kings forever, King of kings forevermore! King of kings forever, King of kings forever, King of kings forevermore!

  • 4 “JUST AS I AM” Just as I am, without one plea but that Thy blood was shed for me, and that Thou bidst me come to Thee, O Lamb of God, I come, I come. Just as I am and waiting not to rid my soul of one dark blot. To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot, O Lamb of God, I come, I come. I come broken to be mended, I come wounded to be healed, I come desperate to be rescued, I come empty to be filled. I come guilty to be pardoned by the blood of Christ the Lamb, and I'm welcomed with open arms, praise God, just as I am. Just as I am, I would be lost, but mercy and grace my freedom bought. And now to glory in Your cross, O Lamb of God, I come, I come. I come broken to be mended, I come wounded to be healed, I come desperate to be rescued, I come empty to be filled. I come guilty to be pardoned by the blood of Christ the Lamb, and I'm welcomed with open arms, praise God, just as I am. I come broken to be mended, I come wounded to be healed, I come desperate to be rescued, I come empty to be filled. I come guilty to be pardoned by the blood of Christ the Lamb, and I'm welcomed with open arms, praise God, just as I am. Praise God, just as I am. “COME BEHOLD THE WONDROUS MYSTERY” Come behold the wondrous myst’ry, in the dawning of the King, He the theme of heaven’s praises, robed in frail humanity. In our longing, in our darkness, now the Light of life has come. Look to Christ, who condescended, took on flesh to ransom us. Come behold the wondrous myst’ry, He the perfect Son of Man, in His living, in His suff’ring, never trace, nor stain of sin. See the true and better Adam, come to save the hell-bound man. Christ, the great and sure fulfillment of the law, in Him we stand. Come behold the wondrous myst’ry, Christ the Lord upon the tree, in the stead of ruined sinners hangs the Lamb in victory. See the price of our redemption, see the Father’s plan unfold, bringing many sons to glory, grace unmeasured, love untold. Come behold the wondrous mystery, slain by death the God of life, but no grave could e’er restrain Him. Praise the Lord, He is alive! What a foretaste of deliv’rance, how unwavering our hope, Christ in power resurrected, as we will be when He comes. What a foretaste of deliv’rance, how unwavering our hope, Christ in power resurrected, as we will be when He comes.

  • 5 INVITATION “HERE IS LOVE” Here is love, vast as the ocean, lovingkindness as the flood, when the Prince of Life, our Ransom, shed for us His precious blood. Who His love will not remember? Who can cease to sing His praise? He can never be forgotten throughout heav’n’s eternal days. On the mount of crucifixion, fountains opened deep and wide, through the floodgates of God’s mercy flowed a vast and gracious tide. Grace and love, like mighty rivers, poured incessant from above, Heaven’s peace and perfect justice kissed a guilty world in love. Let me, all Your love accepting, love You, ever all my days. Let me seek Your kingdom only, and my life be to Your praise. You alone shall be my glory, nothing in the world I see. You have cleansed and sanctified me, You Yourself have set me free. In Your truth You still direct me by Your Spirit through Your Word, and Your grace my need is meeting, as I trust in You, my Lord. Of Your fullness You are pouring Your great love and pow’r on me without measure, full and boundless, drawing out my heart to Thee. OFFERTORY “O LORD, MY ROCK AND MY REDEEMER” O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer, greatest treasure of my longing soul, my God, like You there is no other, true delight is found in You alone. Your grace a well too deep to fathom, Your love exceeds the heavens’ reach, Your truth, a fount of perfect wisdom, my highest good and my unending need. O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer, strong defender of my weary heart, my sword to fight the cruel deceiver and my shield against his hateful darts, my song when enemies surround me, my hope when tides of sorrow rise, my joy when trials are abounding, Your faithfulness, my refuge in the night. O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer, gracious Savior of my ruined life, my guilt and cross laid on Your shoulders, in my place You suffered bled and died. You rose, the grave and death are conquered, You broke my bonds of sin and shame. You rose, the grave and death are conquered, You broke my bonds of sin and shame. O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer, may all my days bring glory to Your Name. May all my days bring glory to Your Name. BENEDICTION “COME PRAISE AND GLORIFY” To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God Who saves.
