Dromont has been producing systems for factory and industrial applications since 1987 with thousands of systems installed around the world only in the last five years. These state-of-the-art systems combine dispensing, mixing, and handling needs as

well as integrated software and hardware designs to accomplish a complete turn-key project. In 1999 our first dispenser for point of sale was presented as the perfect synthesis of: state-of-the-art technology and new revolutionary ideas.

Expanding the limits of ideas

Dromont has achieved its pione-ering reputation by expanding the limits of ideas. This has been ac-complished from the very begin-ning in aspects such as valve de-sign, head movement and piston pump reliability. Today Dromont holds several international patents covering the key aspects of our machines and our components.

The multiple stage O-Ring free di-spensing valve allows customers to achieve high accuracy, and reliable dispensing very rapidly. The design of the heads and the movement of

the valves ensure consistent and trouble free functioning as well as efficient utilization of space.Dromont features the most robust and reliable piston dispensing system in the market.

We also provide complete Turn-Key installations. Dromont builds the entire system in its factory (Factory Acceptance Test) then reassembles everything at the customer’s site without excessive interruption of the customer’s existing processes.

Dromont’s In-House Software Department consists of internal programming engineers working on updating our software platform to the latest innovations as well as integrating our machines into the customer’s Enterprise Resource Planning.This department is capable of customizing the interface software to the customer’s exact needs, testing the software prior to installation, and programming the

software to communicate with the customer’s systems.

By using the very stable base platform of the Dromont software, Dromont’s engineers are able to then create many different options that will allow the customer to manage the entire plant.

Right-First-Time Production for In-batch and In-can Tinting

FACTORY, LABORATORY& IN-CAN

In today’s complex environment, a company needs to profitably manufacture large and small batches as well as made-to-order custom colors all with short lead-times and high repeatability.

In-can DispensingDromont produces dispensing machines that dose all the components into empty cans and/or pails. These containers also function as the final shipping container. This allows for rapid, low waste and low cost manufacturing of custom products without the need to carry finished goods inventory. This technology integrates complete handling lines including labeling, agitation and palletizing.

Laboratory DispensingDromont has designed a unique system by taking a complete factory machine and scaling it down to laboratory size.This machine includes the exact same valve and software technology as the factory system with the highest accuracy in the market of 0.01 grams.

Combined TechnologyDromont is also expanding the standard systems to include both laboratory and production machines in one plant, sharing the same raw material storage.This allows for quick verification and color matching with the laboratory machine and simultaneous production on the factory machines.By combining the two technologies, the customer is able to make custom colors and batches very cost effective, achieving Right-First-Time production.

In-batch DispensingDispensing machines with multiple head designs each available with up to 100 valves, capable of producing portable containers, IBCs and drums. These machines are designed using multiple scale integration to allow for high volume and high accuracy production all in one machine.

Comec has received ISO 9001-2000 quality certification from the Swiss certifying body SQS notified body SQS – IQNET.

COMEC is one of the few European producers to hold the EX II ½ Gc II B T4 mark, by virtue of certificate 06 ATEX 03CO21 issued by the ICEPI, an award confirming the supply of plants and machinery with ZONE 0 certification under ATEX directive. Comec is able to manufacture equipments according to CE, UL and GOST regulations.

Simultaneous Dispensing

Dromont has taken its factory dispensing experience and applied it to the retail market solving the problems commonly associated with today’s machines. Dromont’s high quality machines provide the ability to dispense even very difficult colorants and bases; this was achieved developing an innovative simultaneous piston pump dispensing system.

The pumps are designed to withstand the harshest and most abrasive colorants and still perform without re-calibration, ensuring our

customers uninterrupted produc-tion. In addition, we provide both simultaneous volumetric and gravimetric dispensing, into small cans up to large pails, and user friendly Windows based software. Our complete range of dispensers covers all the needs of our customers in terms of flexibility and productivity.

Our dispensers can be equipped with up to 48 circuits connected to both internal canisters (from 3 to 25 liters capacity) or external tanks (from 50 to 1000 liters capacity).
