Volunteers can get involved at any of the 1,600+ participating locations in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and national cemeteries on foreign soil.
Join us and over 2 million volunteers nationwide in placing wreaths on veterans’ headstones. Invite your family and friends to an experience you will never forget, as we take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to honor our service men and women and their families.

2018 RECAP• Nearly 1.8 million veterans’ wreaths placed at 1,640 participating
locations.• More than two million volunteers nationwide, with 61,000 volunteers
participating at Arlington National Cemetery.• Expanded the mission overseas with the placement of 9,387 veterans’
wreaths at Normandy-American Cemetery in France.
4 WAYS TO GET INVOLVED
1. Sponsor a WreathHonor veterans in your localcommunity by sponsoring awreath that will be placed on aveteran’s grave. You choose thelocation. Groups can get involvedas a fundraising project.
2. Add a New LocationCoordinate a wreath-layingceremony at a cemetery orveteran’s memorial in your town.Determine if this location isalready participating by checkingour website. We have resources tohelp you plan your ceremony.
3. Start a Fundraising GroupYour civic, nonprofit, schoolor other group can help raisewreath sponsorships forArlington or your local cemetery.A portion of the funds can bereturned to help your group.We offer resources and assistanceto ensure your success.
4. VolunteerVolunteer to place wreaths ona veteran’s grave at any of our1,600+ participating locations.Involve your friends and familyto honor our service men,women and families.
