Aim of the conference The two days Conference (ETCS-2018) aims to deliberate upon recent trends in Chemical Sciences and to provide a platform for dialogues and discussion on collaborative interdisciplinary research in the frontier areas of Chemical Sciences. This national conference will provide a forum for interaction of scientists, people from industry, scholars, academicians and students. The conference will encourage the development of long term relationship of various institutions within the state and all over the country. We expect that ETCS-2018 will help in updating the knowledge among participants regarding chemical science and its related fields and will encourage the budding researchers for carrying out and promoting the research endeavours on challenging areas in the domain of contemporary sciences. About AnantnagAnantnag district is in the southern part of Jhelum valley. It is located (latitude 33.729229 & longitude 75.149780) at a distance of 53 Kms from Srinagar, the summer capital of J&K state, on National Highway 44. Deriving its name from the springs in the town, it is blessed by nature with crystal clear waters of its springs, snow clad mountains, fertile soil, dense forests, vast pastures and the world famous health resorts like Pahalgam, Kokernag, Verinag, Achabal, etc.Weather in OctoberWeather in Kashmir valley particularly in district Anantnag remains moderate, pleasant and sunny in October with temperature ranging between 20-25oC. Govt. Degree College AnantnagGovernment Degree College Anantnag was established in the year 1950 as intermediate college. The college attained the status of Degree College in 1962 and is a premier institution in the entire south Kashmir. Spread over 250 Kanals of land, the institution has huge infrastructure and eye catching landscape. The institution has over the years set benchmarks of academic standards and produced a myriad of stars that have made a mark in different spheres of life. The college is NAAC accredited “A” grade college with a status of “College with Potential for Excellence”.
