FULL DAY SUMMER CAMP Date: July 5th —Aug. 12th Ages: 5—12 yrs. Limited Enrollment!! Cost: $540 Time: 9:00-3:00pm
** Location: RECREATION CENTER** We like to plan our activities, trips and events so that they will keep the children cool, entertained and delighted in spite of extreme afternoon temperatures. Children will enjoy trips to the River Beaches & skating in addition to several other trips/activities. Children will be given a calendar that will let you know what activities they are doing and when they have trips. Children must bring a bag lunch, Child must have completed Kindergarten to
participate in this program. NO EXCEPTIONS !! Camp t-shirts must be worn on all trips. ***Once you have successfully registered for this program, all participants are required to download and complete the Full Day Camp Packet which is located on the Borough Website.
****All paperwork must be returned to the Recreation Office prior to the first day of camp.
HALF DAY SUMMER CAMP Date: July 5th –August 12th Ages: 5-12yrs. (child MUST have attended Kindergarten)
Cost: $225 Time: 9am—12pm Location: Nellie Bennett School Campers will have fun with outdoor activities, special “theme” days, crafts, sports, games, some trips and much more! Camp t-shirts must be worn on all trips.
***Once you have successfully registered for this program, all participants are required to down-
load and complete the Half Day Camp Packet which is located on the Borough Website. ****All paperwork must be returned to the Recreation Office prior to the first day of camp.
KINDERCAMP
Date: July 5th—August 12th Ages: 4 & 5 yrs. Time: 9am-12pm Cost: $225 Location: Nellie Bennett School
***Birth Certificates will be required *** Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, well organized, well supervised summer camp experience for 4 &
5 yr. olds. Every day the children play (of course !), do arts & crafts, have a snack, go outside, sing songs & dance, play group games and much more!! You will receive a calendar on the first day of camp highlighting weekly themes and special days. Your child will need to bring a healthy snack every day. Children must be 4 before July 1, 2016 and MUST NOT have attended Kindergarten. ***Once you have successfully registered for this program, all participants are required to down-load and complete the KinderCamp Packet which is located on the Borough Website. ****All paperwork must be returned to the Recreation Office prior to the first day of camp. ***

SHOW CHOIR CAMP ~Held in the High School Auditorium~

Students will learn how to sing and act in a musical revue! There will be a final showcase presentation at the end of the 6 week training. This program runs for 6 weeks.
Skateboarding Programs ~held at Skate Park~

This class is limited to only 7 students per class with experienced instructors teaching hands on piano instruction

Safe Boating Course ~held at the Recreation Center~

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
REGISTRATION FOR ALL PROGRAMS BEGINS JUNE 13th AT 9:00AM
ONLINE
Registration for programs offered by Point Pleasant Recreation will be available online
via the Community Pass online registration system for Summer registration!
Before online registration for summer programs begin, residents will be required to
create a Family Account. It is recommended to create your family account BEFORE
registration begins. It is recommended to create your family account online as soon as
possible to be ready for online registration as program spots are limited.
Following are the steps to create your family account:
Go to https://register.capturepoint.com/PointPleasantBorough to begin.
If you already have a Community-Pass account from another organization or
community follow these steps:
Please use your existing username and password to log in and log out of the Point
Pleasant Community Pass system – you will not need to create a new account.
Point Pleasant Recreation will automatically be notified that you have logged in to the
system and your account is now registered within their Community site. You will be
able to register for programs as soon as you submit Proof of Residency to Point
Pleasant Recreation.
You are required to show the appropriate proof of residency and age along with any
appropriate forms for certain programs in person at the Recreation Center before the
start of the program when required. Participants will not be able to start until all
required materials are submitted.

Swimming Lessons
Location: Silton Swim School, 1701 Atlantic Ave. Manasquan, NJ 08736 Date: 8/15-8/19 (Mon-Fri) Time: 12:45-4:00pm Ages: 3-12 yrs. Cost: $109 This is an instructional program for beginner and intermediate swimmers. It is a 3 hr./ 5 days program designed to teach children to overcome the fear of water, basic-breathing, techniques, arm-stroking and kicking by our Red Cross Certified instructors. Transportation is not provided. Parent’s must submit a copy of your child’s most c urrent immunization record along with an additional form we will provide you with. FORM REQUIRED.

GOLF CAMP

Date: 8/22-8/26 (Mon.-Fri.) Cost: $125 Ages: 5-10yrs. Time: 5:00-6:30pm Using the SNAG (Starting New At Golf system) the modified golf clubs will encourage players to develop the correct chipping, putting & driving techniques. Focusing, developing a basic understanding of the sport, all foundation
curriculums have been designed for the beginner to intermediate player.
LACROSSE CAMP ~held at Community Park~
Date: 8/15-8/19 (Mon.-Fri.) Cost: $125 Ages: 10—14 yrs. Time: 5:00-6:30pm Throughout the week, players will develop their stick handling, catching & passing skills. Each day will end with co-ed, small-sided games where coaches will encourage good sportsmanship & teamwork. Participants will develop an understanding of offensive & defensive plays and will be encouraged to implement these into a scrimmage.
SUMMER SOCCER CAMP
~held at Community Park~
DATE: July 18-July 22 (Mon.-Fri.) Time: 9am-12pm Ages: 8-14yrs. Cost: $90 Children be split up into teams to play against each other at the end of every day. They stay with the same team all week though everbody plays together in the morning. The players on all teams accumulate points accumulate points for good sportsmanship, helping coach, good skills, scoring goals, winning games, wearing team colors, etc. Friday is “Tournament Day” and parents are encouraged to come and watch the games! All participants will receive a tee shirt.
Panther Basketball Academy Location: Memorial Middle School Gym *program runs for 4 weeks*
Date: Mon.& Wed. 7/6 - 8/1 Time: 5:00-6:00pm Grades: 1st—4th Cost: $95 Coaches will be teaching the basic skills of basketball to boys & girls from grades 1-4. Footwork, finishing, passing, shooting & dribbling skills will be implemented to help each player improve their basketball skill level.

Cost: $140 This class is designed for anyone wanting to learn the basics of chocolate making as well as how to make several confections from scratch. INSTRUCTIONS FOR REGISTRATION ONCE REGISTRATION OPENS
To Register for Programs Online offered by the Point Pleasant Recreation
Department follow these steps:
Go to https://register.capturepoint.com/PointPleasantBorough to begin
On the Point Pleasant Borough Community Pass Homepage click on the
“Register” tab to begin selecting programs.
Select those family members that you are registering and click “Continue”. If
the family member that you want to register is not on the list, click the “Add
New Child” or “Add New Adult” button to add additional family members.
Repeat as necessary, until all family members that are registering are displayed
on the list. Continue as directed on the screen.
On the “Profile Verification” page, enter the requested information for each
individual you are registering. When finished, click on the “Continue” button.
On the next page, select the appropriate program(s) for each family member.
When finished, click “continue”
Please follow the remaining steps to complete and pay for your registration.
Community Pass will calculate your final cost on the Confirmation Page.
Payment can be made with one of the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard,
American Express or Discover or via ACH payment.
Please remember to submit any required proof of residency, age and any forms
for certain programs before the start of the program. Participants will not be
allowed to start until all required material is handed in.

If you do not have an existing Community Pass
account follow these steps:
From the Point Pleasant Borough Community Pass login homepage click on
the “Create an Account” tab.
On the next page complete the “Account Creation” fields and click on Create
at the bottom of the page. The next page will display a Privacy Policy,
which you will need to Accept and then click on Finish.
Point Pleasant Recreation will automatically be notified that you have
created a Family account and are now registered within their Community
Pass site. You will be able to register for programs as soon as you submit
required Proof of Residency, Age and Appropriate Forms to Point Pleasant
Recreation.
You are required to show the appropriate proof of residency and age in
person at the Recreation Center before the start of the program. Participants
will not be able to attend the program until all required material is handed in.
Please keep your user name and password in a safe place so you have them
readily accessible when registration for summer programs begins.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, or require any additional
information please contact 732-892-5813 during normal business hours.

To Register in Person When Applicable:
Only Checks will be accepted in person and must be made out to the “Borough of Point
Pleasant.” A fee of $20.00 will be charged for any checks that are returned to us.
Registration in person will be held weekdays from 9am-3pm beginning June 13th, 2016.
Please remember that registration is a first come first served basis and will also be available
online.
**Recreation programs are for residents of Point Pleasant Borough only.
The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment.
Registrants will be offered the choice of an alternate class if available or a refund.
Refunds are made by Purchase Order, in accordance with our refund policy.
There are no refunds on trips or special events unless cancelled by us. There are no refunds
once a program has begun.
If required and asked, additional proof of age and residency must be provided for certain
programs. Any required forms for certain programs must be filled out and handed in before
the start of the program.
The Recreation Department reserves the right to remove a program participant if it turns out
they do not meet the appropriate requirements.
Parents DO NOT stay during the programs unless otherwise noted. Sneakers must be worn
in the gym for all programs unless otherwise noted.
