Music Reviews Veni Krug 345 octaves opt Choirchimes® Level 3- This piece is perfect for any Advent service or Christmas concert! Krug combines Veni Emmanuel (O Come O Come Emmanuel), Hyfrydol (Come, Thou Long-Expected Jesus), Gartan (Love Came Down At Christmas) and Adeste Fideles (O Come All Ye Faithful) together. Each piece flows beautifully to the next. Krug includes singing bell technique, flowing LV patterns, suspended bells, and a wide range of dynamics during rehearsal and performance. In the Bleak Midwinter Austin 345 octaves opt Choirchimes® Level 2 This Christmas tune is one of my favourites. Brenda has a fantastic job of arranging this music with the true meaning of the words. It is filled with legato flowing phrases and beautiful dynamics. It plays like a level 2 but sounds like a level 3! If you don’t have an arrangement of In the Bleak Midwinter in your music library, this is the one that you should get!

Cold December Flies Away Arr. Osman 23 octaves Level 3 This Catalonian Carol is definite must for your library if you are thinking that you will be short a ringer at Christmas. It is a level 3 written for 2 or 3 octaves which doesn’t happen very often. It has 16th notes but few bell changes! What Child is This Arr. McChesney 345 octaves Level 2+ Greensleeves is a well known melody at Christmas. McChesney has written a fantastic arrangement with some creative harmonies. The best part is the gentle suspended mallets at the beginning or end! Christmas Angels Arr Tervo 345 octaves Level 2 Looking for a medley of Christmas Carols about the Angels? It truly feels that the angels are announcing the birth of Christ. Included in these arrangement is Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Angels from the Realms of Glory and Angels We Have Heard on High. These are full arrangements and listeners will really enjoy then! Reflections of Peace Arr. Krug 3456 octaves optional Choirchimes® Level 2+ This entire piece is filled with a delicate, peaceful feeling. The flowing accompaniment reminds of the peace being like a river. The final part of the piece includes Dona Nobis. This music will work perfectly during a prayerful part of worship. New Beginnings (Everlasting Praise) Mallory 345 octaves optional Choirchimes® Level 1+ This original composition will work well in any setting – school, church or community choirs. It is one of those pieces when played with dynamic and phrasing, sounds much more difficult that a Level 1 piece. The added techniques make it interesting for both the ringers and listeners.

Count Your Blessings

Linda R Lamb 3-5 octaves with optional Choirchimes® 3 octaves, Percussion Level 2

This Thanksgiving arrangement has wonderful Latin rhythms which are accentuated

by tambourine, shakers, maracas and stopped techniques. Percussion part is

included in the music.
