General FAQs

Q: What is Anywhere Proctored?

Anywhere Proctored is a service of Pearson VUE, Adobe's test delivery partner. Anywhere Proctored

allows candidates to register and take certification exams from their own computer (desktop or laptop)

with an approved proctor present. After registration, a secure browser is launched and the proctor will

enter an access code to unlock the exam. After completing the exam, the candidate can view their

score report by logging into their Pearson VUE account.

Anywhere Proctored makes it possible for candidates to take an exam without needing to travel offsite to a testing center, while still ensuring a secure and proctored exam environment.

Q: What are the fees for an Anywhere Proctored exam?

Fees for exams delivered through Anywhere Proctored are the same as those for exams delivered at a Pearson test center. When applicable, vouchers are accepted for payment.

Q: Which exams are available via Anywhere Proctored?

All exams for solutions within the Adobe Marketing Cloud that are eligible toward Partner

Specialization and which are currently available via the Pearson testing page are available via Anywhere

Proctored. To view a current list, go to http://www.pearsonvue.com/adobe/ and choose "View Available Exams."

Q: Can someone in my organization be designated as a proctor?

If your company would like to host an on-site exam event, an individual can be approved as a proctor for

a period of time determined by Adobe (i.e. for a one-time event or for multiple events).

Q: What is the process to be schedule an Anywhere Proctored event at my company?

To schedule an on-site exam and designation of a proctor, please send a message to

[email protected], including your location, desired test date, and number of individuals

who will be taking a test. We will coordinate with your Partner Account Manager to identify an internal

proctor and schedule a date for certification. A 10-day window is required to ensure adequate time for registation and proctor training.

Page 3: Anywhere proctored information kit

Registration for Anywhere Proctored events is managed at http://www.pearsonvue.com/adobe/

Candidates will use their Pearson VUE account to register for exams (the same account used for exam

taken at test centers). If you have previously registered for an account, use your existing login and

password. If you have not registered with Pearson VUE before, you will set up a new account. You will

also need to run a system requirements check on your computer to verify that the secure browser will launch successfully.

For a complete overview of the registration process, please see

http://www.pearsonvue.com/adobe/ap/adobe_ap.pdf

through the end of 2014.

Display: 1024 x 768 in 16-bit color (minimum resolution)

Internet connection: Broadband (DSL, cable or LAN/WAN): 256 kbps down / 256 kbps up.

Q: How will I know if my computer meets the Anywhere Proctored technical requirements?

From the Pearson Vue Anywhere Proctored landing page, select the "Run a System Test" link. A scan of

your computer will determine if the requirements for operating system, broswer, and software are met.

Candidates need to run this system test from within the same network environment where they intend

to take the exam, as certain firewall or VPN settings may conflict with proper performance of the Anywhere Proctored secure browser.

Proctor FAQs

Q: What are my duties as a proctor?

As an Adobe-designated proctor, you will oversee candidates taking certification exams during a

designated time period. You will be required to verify each candidate's identification and verify that

they are working within a secure browser before entering a confidential access code that will unlock

their access to an exam. You will observe each candidate as they complete their exam to ensure that

there is no talking, note-taking, or any behavior that may indicate cheating. You are also responsible

Page 4: Anywhere proctored information kit

for ensuring that the test environment is quiet, free from distractions, and reasonable in terms of climate. Additional details will be covered through communications with the Assessment Team.

Q: How can I approved to be a proctor?

You will be required to understand and agree to the roles and responsibilities of a proctor in advance of

the exam event and confirm your availability with the Assessment Team. All proctors must sign the

Proctor Agreement stating that they understand the expectations and limitations of their role and

understand the rules and policies outlined in the Adobe Proctor Guidelines. You will have a 30-60

minute phone call with a member of the Assessment team to further review requirements. At the

conclusion of the on-site exam event, you must reply to an event from the Assessment Team answering a few brief questions about the exam

Q: What is the process to provide access to each candidate's exam?

You will receive an email from the Assessment Team with a Proctor user name and password. After an

exam candidate logs into the Anywhere Proctored site and launches the secure browser, they will be

prompted to enter an access code before they can begin the exam. You will enter your Proctor User Name and password, and the exam will open.
