Growth Hacking Social Media
• Social Media: • Twitter –
• Create a conversation that allows people to chime-in. Using a new hastag: #techforsocialworkers #techforchildwelfare. For example: Florida has #itcanebedone campaign.
• Join conversations here using these hashtags: #nptech #techforgood #data4good #NPCdigi
• Facebook- Using images with links that illicit emotion. For example, see Together We Rise’s Facebook page.
• Blog – What is a SACWIS system? What is the difference between Centralized and County Systems? What is COTS? How does child welfare work? What are some statistics? • Example: Children’s Rights has a great blog with a lot of information; they pop
every time googling ‘child welfare data’.
Growth Hacking with Events and Landing Pages
• Webinars: • External – Put together a webinar for
external folks. For example: Social Solutions did just this.
• Landing Pages – Create guidance around AFCARS repporting. Create tips on how to develop a technology startup. Develop 5 tips to become a public entrepreneur.
Note: These actions to engage folks interested in our niche industry or topic of conversatiion.
• Panels/ Events – What events are happening in the child welfare space? Who is putting on hot events annually? Should we put on an event? Next Steps: Put together a calendar of events and also ask what would we put an event on around?
