• Social Media: Growing social bandwidth. • Twitter, Facebook, Pintrest, etc..• Hashtags: Join the conversation or create conversation.• Engage new partners. Manage social media handle. • How can we grow and maintain a community of interested stakeholders?

• Blogs – Thought leader in the space. • Interview experts. Landing pages to download 1-page guides. • Talk about common industry practices.• Cross posting on child welfare blogs. • How do we share institutional knowledge?

• Webinars – Meet people where they currently are. • Learn more about Casebook.• Learn more about child welfare/ SACWIS. • How do engage potential research participants where they are?

• Panels /– Events – Meet people in-person to buld relationships. • SXSW, NAPCWA, etc. • How can we strategically attend events and “wow” people?

• Create a conversation that allows people to chime-in. Using a new hastag: #techforsocialworkers #techforchildwelfare. For example: Florida has #itcanebedone campaign.

• Join conversations here using these hashtags: #nptech #techforgood #data4good #NPCdigi

• Facebook- Using images with links that illicit emotion. For example, see Together We Rise’s Facebook page.

• Blog – What is a SACWIS system? What is the difference between Centralized and County Systems? What is COTS? How does child welfare work? What are some statistics? • Example: Children’s Rights has a great blog with a lot of information; they pop

every time googling ‘child welfare data’.

Growth Hacking with Events and Landing Pages

• Webinars: • External – Put together a webinar for

external folks. For example: Social Solutions did just this.

• Landing Pages – Create guidance around AFCARS repporting. Create tips on how to develop a technology startup. Develop 5 tips to become a public entrepreneur.

Note: These actions to engage folks interested in our niche industry or topic of conversatiion.

• Panels/ Events – What events are happening in the child welfare space? Who is putting on hot events annually? Should we put on an event? Next Steps: Put together a calendar of events and also ask what would we put an event on around?
