Our Inspiration . . .

MAKE CHANGE HAPPEN: DO NOT WAIT FOR CHANGE TO HAPPEN TO YOU

India has come a long way in its economic, social, and political evolution in the short space of 20 years. The geographical landscape, both urban and rural has changed and is unrecognizable from its 20 year vintage. Socially it has changed

almost unbelievably to the extent that generation gap is not about between parents and children, but even within the generation. Thus, what a 30 year old has seen in his formative years is a matter of mere hearsay for a 15 year old! This is what evolution is all about and it happens almost imperceptibly. Yet, we must be aware of these changes and evolve along with the times. Else, we risk being stranded between the past and present and lose out on the future! This is one reason why I have tried to keep pace with the onslaught of time – always ready for its relentless march – yet ensuring that I don't resist it, but adapt to it so that I do not get isolated in a world that has no place for misfits today. The difference between misery and solace, sorrow and happiness is all about how we respond to changes in our lives. Once we learn to understand that change is the only constant and reconcile to it, rather than resign ourselves to it, we would have won the battle and come out supreme! My advice to the young in age, and young at heart, always is to learn to make the most of the opportunities for growth which are now available in plenty as compared to a few years ago and to give 'change' a new meaning, by making it happen, rather than allowing it to dictate terms for you to adhere. Experience the immense satisfaction and happiness you get out of being able to successfully negotiate and win over change at every stage of life. I wish all the best to my young friends. Anubhuti enters into Eight year with this publication, a budding tender plant flourishing into a self-contendingtree grounded firmly into the past and solidifying the future. The NAAC peer team also appreciated editorial team for their creative work which provides platform to staff members and students to showcase their hidden talent. The editorial board like every year went through a stupendous task of selecting and finalizing the best of the best creative material for the magazine. We are overwhelmed with the humongous response both by the students and the staff members with their drafts.

“When you write more and more personal it becomes more and more universal.”

Writing is an act of reacting to the environment around you. An expression is a basic instinct of thoughtful mind and the act of writing is one of the fountain head of ideas that springs into poem or article. The writing comes to life when it meets its reader. Students are most enthusiastic budding creative expressionist who just need a platform to throw their ideas and emotions on the paper. A college magazine is there to capitulate all those expressions for the tasteful readers. “Anubhuti” is one of the most eagerly awaited moment for students, staff and all those associated with Indira family. The college magazine which showcases the literary expressions, social awareness and recognition to all the achievers in the academic and extracurricular activities, strengthens the internal bonding amongst the Indiraites as one family. We tried our best to accommodate all the deserving articles and poems into the magazine hope this seventh edition of Anubhuti will set the bar higher with its interesting and novel material which will certainly astonish the reader. We would be delighted to receive your valuable feedback for motivation and self-retrospection.

My Journey Towards Football

Football is just a game for others but for me it is my passion, my pride, my attitude. So, starting with it I am Samiran Roy, from Kolkata. When I was in junior school, I started getting interest for football. Slowly I started to love it and thats when I developed an unconditional love for football. The more I played the more I got interested in it and at that point of time I understood that, football is going to be my career and my dream.

The first step I took was to develop my skills to become the best player so I joined coaching classes for football. During my high school I learned football and when I reached my junior college, I started playing matches.

My first match was in 11th std, at district level, I remember I was so exited. After the district win, it was turn for the nationals, that I played in Goa, Wow! what an experience of victory it was. As I started and got more interested in it and also improved my skills... leaving district and national matches I have been a part of many local matches too. Then came the turning point in my life when I got selected for guess what... the International match, by the Greenbox mini football club, where I travelled all the way to spain representing my country INDIA. Believe me, I felt amazing to represent my country in spain. We won three matches in Spain, it was a very proud moment for all. My journey of football has started in a great speed and there is a lot more waiting for me in future. I would also like to mention that my family played an important role in encouraging me and motivating me, they give me a lot of strength, to give my 100% in football.

Lastly, My dream is to make an Indian team which will be a part of FIFA world cup. To conclude, without football, my life is worth nothing.’

Everyday I watch a dreamwith all my passion and compassion

It involves a huge piece of glamsomewhere high, somewhere dimI will fought for all the strugles

Clear vision and solitude companyremains to me with huge harmony

huge desires with little flame of fires.and an gonna face it all without

getting being fired.someties I look to cloud in hopeful way

and stars twinkles gazing at me with full of gay.

Sometimes, encourages me sometimes scolds at me

But never dries to tear me apart whenever am sad or glee.

Newday comes up each in every old lifeEvery battle of life has to be fought,

It can be either difficult or can be too riskyyou can never gain a pearl

until you dive into deep sea.Oh, yeah, everyday I watch a dreamBut with no amount of calculations

and no number of roads I have to traveled on.

Its just the rhythm of life on which I like to follows on.

Life's Endless journey

The endless journey of life, with perfect blend of spices and stress like ??Sometimes I wish I could be able to move on,

to the path, which I have made by my own.The only thing i demand for,

not the money, not the fame but place and calmness. No accidents so far but yes many

clashesouvred in between. Some things where it will get appreciatedsomewhere where it will get appreciated,

Somewhere some things will get ruined up too.Life only decides to play only such gamesof which you don't love any idea about it.

The teachings of life it has been taughnighter be repeated nor be separate. The only thing you bound to do iseither you cherish or you share it

The more you throw out solutions to your problemThe more you jumbled up its complexities.Life's endless journey Never come up with

complications. But to it we made it not by choosing but by

the choices we have made till ??

TreesTree, Tree, Tree what is a tree?

Its' God's gift to mankind in free.Trees give us shade, they give us wood.

Haven't we all played under them in childhood?

Birds build nests in them, bees make hives. They give us vegetable, fruits, colourful flowers.

They help nature to bring down rain.To protect and preserve them is our duty.

What is life?

Sometimes soft as silk sometimes sharp as a knife

Life is a blessing as well as prison. And for this opinion I have a lot of reasons

Standing all alone facing the harsh timeBut surrounded by people during your good season

Sometimes you get what you strongly expect

life is really beautiful, no one can denyBut it is cruel as well, you'll know

this when you'll cryyou told me : "Life is nighttingale."I told you : "Life is night in a jail"

For me it's a mission, for you its a taleA life is a journey and love : its destiny

But it is through desearts not through valesIts a journey in the dark; you would need a spark

But beaware that there are terrible galesYou cared and now nobody is on your sideThere are some people around us calling

themselves "a friend".But a very few of them stay

with us until the endA new challenge waiting,

as you move aheadOne single mistake buddy and you are dead!

Despite these facts I bow before lifeIt makes a poet from a common man

Everyone in this world has the right to liveAnd flight believing in loss and gainIt gave me hope, it taught me love

I learned a lot from this 'night in jail'I kept on conquering all hurdlesAnd kept on singing nightingale

"Life is unfair" becauseof the delusion that it should be fair

Life is sweet, say thank you and celebrateLife is bitter, say thank you and growLife is same; our views are different

For me it's a mission for you its a tale.

To the share of ElernityAges and ages hence

I was flying, flying away from the ghosts of my past and.....

Today as I stood for my transport to arrive the cold wind kept blasting which caused a shooting

pain in my body, I was unable to distinguish between it being pain from my broken leg or my

broken heart! As I passed by people sitting around a bonfire to warm their chilled bodies I thought if i would find a fire to warm my heart,

Because the coldness was creeping in. Bit by bit, inche by inche Gnawing against the inner sides freezing the blood flowing through my pumping Heart. Thoughts forming the fire in me. First : My family, the mere thought of them brought

tears in my eyes both of happiness and sadness, happiness for I had the best parents loving and caring. Sadness for the distance separating me

from them. The warmth felt good. Second : Friends, Most important part of the life for me

lessons in my life. Thinking of friends/Realized/Hand some who gave me the best memories and those were the same one's

who taught me the hardest of all lessons. And i felt the coldness spreading from the centre of my

chest and rushing I changes the thought. And all this While I realized that I forgot which

place I belonged to, what was the time. The reason being that the clock of my life had

stopped months Ago, Days ago, locking me in the past preventing from racing Ahead. Where time had stopped for some of us it raced ahead

for others making it difficult to walk on. I stopped and I saw something mind shattering. I saw that my soul, faced me asking me to move on, accept and walk ahead, to break all strings and fly high like a baloon of Helium that isn't afraid of heights. I shook hands with my soul

and felt myself being lifted off the ground leaving behind everyone! I was flying! Flying away from the ghosts of my past and holding a peaceful smile on my face!) For I realized that

Life : A Magical Dream.........Wake up. Head to college, study, Head Home,

Study Dinner, Sleep Repeat.Wake up. Head to college study.

Head Home. study Dinner. sleep. RepeatWake up. Head to college. Work. Head

Home.... time out. Is this as good as it gets? What happened to living life to the fullest?

Where is the daring adventure that we dreamed about as a kid? Many of us have lost the

passion for adventure that filled our childhood. The problem is that in our age of technological revolution we have written off adventure and exploration as things of the past, no longer

necessary, thanks to our newfound, ever evolving capabilities. What we need to realize is that it is not the discovery of new things that

is important for the average man, but the understanding ourselves which we often

acquire through high adventure. Perhaps it is best to of look to an old pro in the art of adventure for some insight into the true

reasoning behind it. The world is a book and every step turns a new page so Skip some steps..... decide your journey... follow your

own gut. dont live the price years of life based on what people are doing or what has been thought to you.... Take pride in your work,

your passion. Break barriers and get out there say yes to new adventure. The things are going to be different and difficult tomorrow so live your life to the fullest and lets wander where the wifi is weak and cherish each and every

moment of your life; Life is full of Adventure so live it up!!....

Why Poverty! This world is full of injustice, but this is what how we can push it back and find out a solution for it, there is most inequality in this modern age, I would like to discuss about the gap between rich and poor.Richest 1% will own more than all the rest by 2016, in other word the richest 1% will overtake that of the other 99% of people next year unless the current trend of raising inequality is checked. Oxfam warned today ahead of the annual world economic forum. In this recent a research paper published by Oxfam, shows that the richest 1% have seen their share of global wealth increase from 44% in 2009 to 48% in 2014 and at this rate will be more than 50% in 2016.Member of this global elite had an average of $2,7 million per adult in 2014, of the remaining 52% of global wealth almost all (46%) is owned by the rest richest fifth of the world's population. The other 80% share just 5.5% and had an average wealth of $3,851 per adult - that's 1/700th of the average wealth of the 1%. Bill gates one of the richest man in the world has more than the national wealth of 38 different countries, include Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Niger and Madagascar (moneynation.com 2 years ago research.)

India :Mukesh Ambani one of the richest man in the India is worth than half of India states (Hindustantimes.com) there is so much disparity between poor and rich in india, according to global wealth report 2016 Indias top 1% of the population owning nearly 60% of the total wealth. The explosion in inequality is holding back the fight against global poverty, at a time when 1 in 9 people do not have enough to eat and more than a billion people still live on less than $ 1,25 a day. Extreme inequality is hampers the private sector bottom line and also has other serious problems.

Solution :1. The change will come when the rich peoples donate their wealth to worlds poor.2. A systematic research for a complete and new economic system (instead of capitalism and socialism).3. No interest rate (Zero %)4. Study of ethical and moral issues. For applying these well we need to self-justification and an invisible hand power which is related with religious basis. I hope this experience will be beneficial for even up this huge gap.

I-MUNThe 5th edition of Indira Model United Nations (i-MUN) conference resonates with the beat and vibration in the heart of ICCS. This year we have marched further together with a new team of i-MUN 2016. This year we hosted four new councils of assembly which are as follows.

1. United Nations Security Council- Under the charter the Security Council has primary responsibilities for the maintenance of international peace and security. It has 15 members and each member has one vote. Addressing the borderline conflicts in South Asia is the agenda of this year's Security Council.

2. United Nations Women- The organization is governed by a multi-tiered intergovernmental governance structure in-charge of providing normative and operational policy guidance. Violation of women's rights in the name of religion and culture is this year's agenda.

3. Rajyasabha- The rajyasabha or the council of states is the upper house of the parliament of India. Membership of rajyasabha is limited by the constitution to a maximum of 250 members, and current laws have provisioned for 245 members. This year we discuss the issues regarding demonetisation of Indian currency in lieu of the RBI act, 1949.

4. United Nations High Commission for Refugees-In urban areas, many refugees share accommodation or live in non-functional public buildings, collective centers, slums and informal types of settlements. UNHCR struggles for advocacy, asylum and migration, cash-based interventions, coordinating assistance, education, ending settlements, public health and shelter. This year we have discussed the current issues such as rehabilitation of Syrian Refugees.i-MUN 2016 has reached the epitome of success in Pune with the participation of more than 125 delegates from all over India.
