Established in 1978, Vakantiesalon Antwerpen confirms and fortifies, year after year, its position as the biggest and most important holiday fair in Flanders, Flemish part of Belgium.
The growing success of the fair is based on a number of factors: ü a strong media campaign,
ü well-chosen themes, ü particular attention for new holiday formulas, ü a great number of loyal exhibitors and a motivated
team behind the event on the other hand.
This international BtoC fair is distributed over 4 days and gathered 79.000 visitors and 400 exhibitors during the past edition.

The fair for B&B’s and charming stays
A survey conducted among visitors of the Antwerp Holiday Fair shows that the most popular type of holiday is camping. The camping area at the Vakantiesalon Antwerpen is growing year by year, so it was decided to devote a complete hall, and therefore a complete fair to campsites, caravans and mobile homes, but also all sorts of accessories and means of transport such as bicycles - electric or otherwise, steps, etc.
Bed and breakfasts are gaining popularity worldwide.
More and more couples and families are looking for a small-scale stay with personal service in an authentic, charming or sometimes just an unconventional framework. This is shown by figures from Bedandbreakfast.eu, a website with a worldwide offer of Bed & Breakfasts and that also offers tips for starting your own B&B.

VAKANTIESALON GHENT & LET’S CAMP GHENT
Integration of the Let’s Camp fair from Antwerp in Ghent in order to add a new sector, to attract new exhibitors and new visitors. Campervans, caravans, campsites, outdoor equipment,... are from now on welcome.
The tourism sector was already present but will grow with the integration of Vakantiesalon.

As an extension of the indoor fair Belgian Boat Show Ghent, Conceptum is organizing the ‘on water’ version, Belgian Boat Show Float, which will take place in October in the Marina of Nieuwpoort.
The focus of this event is on cabin yachts, +10 meter boats, large and
small motor boats, sailing yachts, RIBS, various chartering offers and power boating. With a choice of both new and second-hand boats, there is something for everyone. In addition to boats and boat accessories, you will also find a range of water sports, water recreation and tourism on or by the water.
