FREESTOOL This is a modular piece of furniture, which I designed and exhibit in the last year of my study, made by Africa mahogany and marine plywood. The hole structure is fix with 12 wine corks at the sides of the furniture giving a reclaim material character to the piece.
Hiding back support
Wine corks can offer strong and easy fix.

LAUNCH FLASK This is a concept of a practical breakfast case, which I designed during the second year in the UCA. The showing model is made by blue foam, except the knife, fork and the chop sticks which are made by wood.

GREEN DESK LAMP This is a ambient desk lamp, which I designed in the first year. Reclaim materials was the key point for this project. The three legs base is made by used MDF and aluminium, which I found in the bin. The four rings at the top, came from an empty wine bottle, where I collect from a glass bin.

FLATPACK WINERACK This is a flat pack wine rack, which I designed in my first year of study. Three pieces of MDF wood, which they fix together into a triangle shape hold by three metal hooks.

LAZY FRUITBOWL This is a simple fruit case which, I designed recently during my artist and residence in UCA Farnham. Two pieces of wood which are locking cross each other in order to give a support to a fabric suck . Afterwards the four corners of the fabric suck can hang on to the four corners of the two grossing pieces in order to shape a lazy bed for the fruits. Is a very simple and flexible idea which it can save a lot of space on the table compare with the classic shape of a fruit bowl case.

REMODULAR Remodular is good example to show, how you can design simple functional, and practical furniture using free wood resources, where you can find in parking lots and bins. This particular example is made from abandoned wood pallets, where I found in parking lots. Two simple design chairs, who they can become easily into a practical coffee table with two shelves at the two corners of the table.

DIGITAL CONCEPTS
SOLIDWORKS
COGNAC BOTTLE This cognac bottle was a really useful exercise, to introduce my self to solidworks. Replicating the shape from an existing bottle, force me to learn the basic skills on solidworks and to move on in a more detailing concepts.
WINE OPENER This simple wine opener, was the reason to earn more skills from Solidworks, like using the helix and, swept tool in order to design the wine opener head and the screws to hold together the split part cover.
LONDON BUS STOP The inspiration for this digital concept came from the new design of the low emission London bus. As you can see, clearly the design follows the rear design of the bus. The long curvy glass stripe at the rear of the bus is for me the most beautiful part on the bus. So that put me thinking to take that beautiful bus design and to turn it into its closest relative, a BUS STOP! Of course that wasn’t only the idea to create this bus stop. The main idea was to recycle every bus in the country at its end of it’s life. Approximately the life expand of a bus is 12 years, so instead to crush the hole bus you can cut the rear of it and you can transform it into a bus stop without the council spending money and materials to design a new bus stop. The bus its self can be the bus stop.

Palm Grill Palm grill is a simple design of a grill with a thermo surface, which allow you to use your hand palm to squeeze and grill a Panini or a burger. Palm Grill has also the flexibility to open in a 180 degrees angle with two surfaces to grill on. And with the double face grill and fry surface it give the advantage to grill and fry at the same time.
