Toronto: Pearson Canada. Available at the University Bookstore. Course Requirements: Two quizzes: 10% each Two Tests: 15% each Four papers: 10% each Tutorial Participation: 10% Tests and quizzes will be in class. Quizzes will be 40 minutes long and include only short answer questions, tests will be 90 minutes and include longer answers. Tests are cumulative for the material covered in the semester. For the Term 2 test only a small subset of the material from Term 1 will be included. You will be given a study guide in advance of each of the tests and quizzes. If you are going to be absent for a test please contact your TA as early as possible to make arrangements. The requirements for the paper assignments vary and will be specified to you at the time each paper is assigned. If you feel a grading error has been made on your test, quiz or paper please prepare a cover sheet (printed out, not hand written) and submit this to your TA along with the test, quiz or paper. The cover sheet must indicate precisely where you believe there is an error. There is a 10% penalty per day for late assignments unless arrangements are made in advance with your TA or you have medical documentation.
