This program will help meet the strong and growing demand in the US economy for skilled technology professionals and enable veterans to successfully re-enter the work force in a difficult economy. To give back to this community that has given so much to America, SAP is creating the Veterans to Work program, building on our long record of engagement with the US military, veterans organizations, schools and business partners. The Veterans to Work initiative will provide training on cutting-edge SAP database, analytics and mobility technology solutions. The program will give veterans valuable skills that will make them more employable for years to come in one of the world’s leading technology ecosystems. Question – When and where will this program be offered?

Beginning in November 2012, the program will offer streamlined certification programs in three crucial market categories:

• Database technology • Data analytics • Mobility software

Courses lasting from one to nine days will be offered in both instructor-led classrooms and online, self-paced formats.

In 2013 and beyond, SAP will expand the program to reach more locations across the nation, partner with more veterans service organizations, and expand the number of offerings through both short-term certificate courses and multi-year university degree programs. We also will foster mentorship and community among program participants.

Our five-year goal is to train and certify thousands of veterans per year as database administrators, software developers, and technical consultants in the North American market.
