Mark your calendar! October is the month of the Holy Rosary ... In observance of the month of the Holy Rosary, the Rosary group will be leading the way to honor the Virgin Mary by initiating the "Block Rosary Family Crusade." The celebration will begin with the blessing of the new statue of the Virgin Mary on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the 5:00 PM Saturday evening Mass.

Please join us in song and prayer in the Gathering Space/courtyard at 4:00 PM. The opportunity for confession will be available from 3:30 to 4:30 PM followed by a procession of the enthroned Virgin Mary before the 5:00 PM Mass. All are welcome to participate. If you have any religious items that you would like to have blessed, please bring them and place them at the altar.

Parishioners will be invited to sign up to keep the Blessed Virgin Mary statue in their homes for a couple of days and pray the Holy Rosary with their family. After a scheduled visit, the statue will then be transferred to the next family for a couple of days and so on. SPECIAL COLLECTION: St. Vincent de Paul $1,981

FINANCIAL REPORT: August 28, 2016 La Ofrenda de la Semana 28 agosto 2016

Please consider that Annunciation of the Lord Church continues to be open for Mass, numerous activities and the Sacraments. During these summer months your generosity through Faith Direct can help provide the consistent resources we need to operate our parish and ministries.

Visit www.faithdirect.net and use our church code: AL724

Stewardship Today's readings tell of the mercy of God the Father toward his children. Instead of punishing the Hebrews for making the golden calf, the Lord relented and showed mercy. Paul was persecuting the church till he was called by God’s mercy. Mercy came to the Prodigal son. May we realize the extent of God's mercy to us and bestow mercy on those who have wronged us.

An easy way to support our school is to purchase gift cards (Scrip). You pay the face value of the card, however the school is able to purchase them at a slight discount - the difference goes to help our school. Scrip is available in the Gathering Space on the weekends after Mass.
