The Milwaukee Area Youth Lacrosse Association provides local
leadership, structure and education to promote the growth of youth lacrosse in Southeastern
Wisconsin and enrich the experience of its participants.

Highlights• Our 18th Year• Mother Nature was not our friend• 990 regular games scheduled, 124 LAXtravaganza! games scheduled• 1114 total games scheduled• 54 boys teams, 36 girls teams• 7/8 Boys A/B Program had to be cancelled• LAXtravaganza! rescheduled and reduced• 209 coaches• Two Milwaukee-area USL Coaches Education Programs offered• Lots of Parents and Fans!• Renewed partnership with the Positive Coaching Alliance• Renewed partnership with the Missouri Institute of Positive Coaching• 2020 Transition Project Initiated• Post-Season Meeting

LAXtravaganza! 2020To gather as a community to honor & celebrate youth lacrosse; promote the growth of the sport.
Help!• Volunteers:
1. Coordinators (Program, Fastest Shot, Raffles, Volunteers, Dunk Tank)
2. At event: Set-up/ Clean-up, 50/50 Raffle runners, Fastest shot, dunk tank
3. Sign-up Genius
• Equipment needed: (field set-up: pair of goals, cones & lax clock)
• Team Responsibilities: designated home team will provide the time and scorekeepers. Each team has designated Culture Keeper for each game. Coach will bring 1 dozen new game balls.
• Media & Publicity• COMMUNICATE! Send all information to every family!• Fundraising: 50/50 raffle (2/day), Main raffle (Camps, etc;
drawing Sunday)• Sponsorships/Program Advertisers - Asking each program to
sell AT LEAST $150 in programs ads or sponsorships
Boys Officials TrainingWe need those Dads (Moms, too) to become Officials and Umpires!
Sunday, March 1 & March 8 Youth Officials Tuesday, March 3 & 10 Adult/High School Officials
On-Field Training Scrimmages scheduled for Sunday, April 5 at Shorewood High School
Classroom Training location and times to be determined.
Boys Youth Officials have to be at least a sophomore in High School and have a great attitude.
