Welcome! Whether it is teaching an agriculture workshop in Kenya or volunteering to sort through a box of donations, every person (including you!) who is part of the Healing Hands International community believes we are doing something important, something bigger than each of us as individuals. At our core, we believe we are here to extend the love of Jesus Christ to a lost and hurting world, allowing God to use our hands to carry out His healing work. The goal of each of our programs is to implement this belief. Because of your support: The Water program celebrated its 500th clean water well milestone. The Agriculture program trained twice as many people as last year. The Education program is moving into a second school in Haiti. The Women Worth A Million program held its first Christian Business Women’s Conference. The M.A.G.I. program had another record breaking year, impacting children in 5 nations. The Disaster Relief program sent aid and development donations to the Philippines. The Medical program sent supplies to 20 different countries. May God pour out blessings on you for participating in this work. Burt Nowers President & Volunteer What we believe.

In 2013, we trained 3,315 people in Mexico, Haiti, Brazil, Kenya, Uganda,

Tanzania, and the United States during 2 and 3 day workshops. We estimate that those we trained in turn trained another 20,000. We know of trainees who have trained 10, 15, 20, 35, and even 50 other people. If each person trained

is able to feed their family you can imagine that thousands of people are benefiting from these life preserving sustainable agriculture skills. We

now also have 67 people on our Hunger Fighting Team from the United States giving monthly to the fight against hunger worldwide.

The Education program has exciting news to announce! After spending two years at the Ganthier school, we are moving into an additional school in Santo, Haiti this year. Teachers from the Ganthier school will help to train the teachers at the Santo school. Praise God for this new opportunity!

The total income in 2013 was $3,523,368. We spent $3,049,513 (87%) on programs and reserves, $292,829 (8%) on administrative costs, and $181,026 (5%) on fundraising costs. At Healing Hands, we recognize that all resources are entrusted to us by God and therefore, we seek to be excellent stewards. By the grace of God, we’ve been able to drill 66 and repair 37 clean water wells in 2013. We were able to provide clean water for over 309,000 people this year, opening the door to share the good news of Jesus Christ. We celebrated our 500th water well milestone in October. We were able to host 13 Walk 4 Water events in 8 different states this year, raising the funds for these wells as well as for Sawyer water filters that are provided where successful water wells cannot be drilled.

We hosted the first Christian Business Women’s conference in Haiti this year. We conducted 10 Hope parties telling the story of Women Worth A Million at 11 other conferences, Ladies’ Days, and workplaces. Women in the four countries in which we work were able to clothe, feed, and send their children to school as well as repair their houses, and save for the future.

You donated $444,000 for Disaster Relief work in 2013. The bulk of this amount was given to our brothers and sisters in the Philippines following Typhoon Yolanda in November. We funded the rebuilding of homes, bought boats for fishermen trying to rebuild their livelihoods, and donated money towards rebuilding school buildings.

• Pray for the work going on through Healing Hands International. We covet your prayers for the wisdom needed to bless others in the way that God calls us. Please especially remember the members of our team who are working on the ground. • Host a Walk 4 Water at your church, school, or workplace. This is a four mile walk to raise money for our clean water projects. • Join the Hunger Fighting Team.
