The Art and Culture Department is working to nurture art objects and to highlight
the rich Art forms of the state in the national and international level. In fact, culture is
undefinable, may be, it is the whole human consciousness which absorbs, and at the
same time rejects anything either good or bad. Of the innumerable strands gathered
through ages in its evolution, one part of our culture is that it always demands a
‘Condition’, a ‘tradition’ and it cannot easily forsake that ‘Condition’ and it continues in
that ‘tradition’. Culture is a part and parcel of human life and it is an integral part of their
cultural tradition.
