Announcing the Consumer Electronics Section of The National Electronics Conference

McCormick Place - Chicago, Illinois October 19, 20, 21, 1964

There will be a special series of Technical Sessions on Consumer Electronics at the National Electronics Conference in Chicago this year. This group of sessions is intended to replace our participation in the Radio Fall Meeting which has been discon­tinued. A dinner meeting and an award similar to the Radio Fall Meeting Award are also planned.

The Consumer Electronics program is sponsored jointly by the following Professional Technical Groups of the IEEE:

1. Broadcast and Television Receivers, 2. Electron Devices, 3. Audio.

Each group has representation on the Consumer Electronics Committee. This committee, headed this year by Albert Cotsworth of the Zenith Radio Corporation, makes all decisions relative to the arrangements, publicity, and program of the Consumer Electronics Section.

While the program has not yet been made final, it appears that an excellent group of papers are in prospect. Vie look forward to seeing you there.
