NeedsThe rapidly changing health care environment and pace of technologic innovations in medicinerequire urologists to keep abreast of state-of-the-art diagnosis and management of urologic disease.This annual conference focuses on current controversies and innovative diagnostic and treatmentstrategies for some of the most common urologic problems faced by clinical urologists.
ObjectivesAt the conclusion of the activity, the participant should be able to:� Develop an appropriate strategy for the observation of small renal masses � Identify appropriate treatment options for patients with renal or bladder trauma � Identify ways to medically and surgically treat male erectile dysfunction and
complications that may arise� Identify preoperative cardiac risk factors for patients undergoing urologic surgeries� Educate patients with locally advanced kidney, prostate, and bladder cancer regarding
integration of neo and adjuvant therapies for these common urologic cancers� Delineate current strategies in erectile preservation following radical prostatectomy,
including a rational treatment strategy for hypogonadal testosterone deficiency � Describe the current management of Peyronie's Disease, genital trauma, and complex
urethral strictures� Develop a strategy for managing complex stone disease that has failed traditional
ureteroscopic management� Avoid pitfalls in the application of surgical robotics to renal surgery

If you have not received confirmationat least 5 business days before the activity start date, contact the Office of Continuing MedicalEducation (OCME) immediately.

The OCME reserves the right to limit the number of participantsin an activity and will not be responsible for any expenses incurred by an individual whoseregistration is not confirmed and for whom space is not available.

Cancellation/Refund PolicyRequests for registration refunds must be in writing and received by the Office of ContinuingMedical Education (OCME) at least 10 business days before the activity begins. The date therequest is received by the OCME will be considered the cancellation date. Requests receivedafter the refund deadline will not be processed. Cancellations are subject to a $50 administra-tive fee deducted from the registration fee paid to cover guarantees and other expenses.Requests should be mailed to the OCME or faxed to 713.798.7955.
The OCME reserves the right to cancel activities, not less than 10 business days before thescheduled date, if extenuating circumstances make it necessary. Registrants will be notifiedat the contact number indicated on the registration form followed by written notification. Ifan activity is cancelled, OCME's liability is limited to the registration fee paid. Note: Ifpayment is made by check, a social security number is required to process a refund.
