We've Received Accreditation! A National Lutheran School Accreditation Team, (NLSA), visited St. Peter this past month. They spent time observing classes, talking with teachers, students and parents as well as meeting with the administrators and pastors. The team is recommending St. Peter for accreditation status once again. Among other things, the team was impressed with the behavior of our students, especially in how they politely greeted team members. They were also impressed with the family environment and the positive climate they experienced during their visit. 2017-18 WELCOME! We are excited to announce the addition of a new St. Peter faculty member for the 2017-18 school year. Mr. Josiah Hahn, a recent Concordia University Wisconsin graduate will join our middle school staff with 7th grade as his homeroom. (Mrs. Kathy Kruel will return to teaching fourth grade filling the vacancy left by Mrs. Pfeil to be a stay-at-home mom.) Mr. Hahn grew up in Yorkville, IL and hails from a Lutheran school teacher family. We are excited and certainly blessed to be able to add another strong leader to our teaching staff. Mr. Hahn will visit our school later this month to begin to get to know the staff and students.

May 21 "Comfort in the Spirit for Our Spirits" Lutheran Hour Speaker: Rev. Dr. Gregory Seltz To be the people God created us to be, we must be connected to His power, to His Word, by His Spirit. (John 14:15-21) May 14 “As the Church of God it’s time we rightly extolled the vocation of motherhood, and it’s time we finally saw the resplendent majesty concealed therein. There is no greater vocation on earth for it is God’s chosen means to bring children into this world and, likewise through parents, to bring children into Christ’s kingdom of forgiveness through Holy Baptism.” Rev.
