The Annual Conference of the South Carolina United Methodist Church meets this week, starting this
evening. We will consider the ministries of the conference and vote on them, recognize retiring ministers,
remember those clergy and families who died this past year, and ordain new clergy. Appointments will be
finalized (I’m returning), resolutions voted on, and the budget passed. Our lay members from Highland Park
are Robin Edens, Jennifer Price, and Elizabeth Poston. Pray for the
Bishop, lay members, and clergy this week. Scripture Readings for the Week
