THE SEMINAR
This Seminar provides an avenue for the transition of technologies and services from the laboratory to the market place. This one-day event is aimed at providing a forum for interaction between MPOB researchers and industry players. The Seminar, which includes presentations by MPOB researchers facilitates engagement between the inventors of the technologies and entrepreneurs, through sharing of knowledge and experience on commercialisation.The transfer of technology contributes towards energising the industry with innovations and opportunities in wealth creation.
PERAK LECTURE
In the evening, participants will be entertained to dinner, where an interesting lecture will be delivered by a very prominent personality, YBhg Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Lee Oi Hian, Chief Executive Officer of Kuala Lumpur Kepong (KLK) Berhad.

• To disseminate information on potential palm-based products and technologies from the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB);
• To provide an update on achievements in research and development (R&D) of oil palm;
• To disseminate information on investment opportunities and National Key Economic Areas (NKEA) projects;
• To offer new business opportunities based on the new technologies; and
• To provide a forum for exchange of ideas and experiences amongst participants.
AREAS OF FOCUS
• Innovations and available technologies.• Adoption and commercialisation of technologies.
EXHIBITION
An exhibition will also be organised for the participants in conjunction with the Seminar. This exhibition will showcase selected potential technologies and services. The exhibition also provides a suitable platform for interaction among MPOB’s inventors and the participants. Participants will be updated on the latest technologies available.
